There was a litter of kittens that came through over the weekend. And I'm fairly certain one of them was more than a bit destructive.

[Theo would love to be a fly on the wall at that conversation.]

Right, of course. Why didn't I guess that to begin with? Of course he's your boss. [ and should Arthur be expecting Theo for dinner then? It only seems like the next logical step. ]

Not your Merlin, fortunately. At least as far as I can tell. Mine hasn't gone by Merlin for ages.

[Not exactly... not he would turn it down.]

Are you trying to tell me there's more then one Merlin?

A great deal of people here come from different worlds, right? So, my earth also has a Merlin in it. But it seems like our two earths are also vastly different in their histories.

[His has magic for everyone, Arthur's doesn't.]

So, I have no way of knowing if your Merlin ends up anything like mine.

[ he felt a headache coming on. Life back in Camelot, for all its lack of convenience, was so much simpler then here in the City. ]

For your sake, I almost hope he doesn't.

[ more then one Merlin was scary enough, but more then one constantly enthusiastic Merlin would be too much to handle. There weren't enough chores in all the City to keep Merlin down. And that was a fact. ]
