[video]
[Her face is so achingly hopeful]
Guys, if you're out there... find me. No, wait, I'll find you. Just don't go anywhere.
[action]
[She and Naga will be out and about in the City, looking desperately for any sign of her friends. Threadjacking encouraged!]
[Her face is so achingly hopeful]
Guys, if you're out there... find me. No, wait, I'll find you. Just don't go anywhere.
[action]
[She and Naga will be out and about in the City, looking desperately for any sign of her friends. Threadjacking encouraged!]

action;
[Thinking about it...]
Why did you move? I told you to stay where you were.
[She turns at the sound of... Asami's voice?]
What?
action;
[ And that's when her carbon copy catches her eyes and ears... ]
Ohthat'screepy. Who are you?
action;
[She doesn't know whether to be even more creeped out than she already is or... or what. Look, this isn't something she's had to deal with before.]
Korra, what's going on?
action;
I have no idea.
action;
[ She folds her arms and sends Asami a skeptical look. This girl is dealing with the real Asami, you would think she'd turn tail and get out of here and stop trying to complicate matters more than they already have been.
She huffs a little impatiently and glances at Korra. ]
This is ridiculous. Korra, let's go.
action;
[She folds her arms only to unfold them as soon as she realizes that she's mirroring the imposter. That fake Asami has some nerve.
Her hair looks great, though. Not that that matters.]
Korra, you've got to listen to me. That isn't me.
action;
[The other voice (actually two voices, but how is she supposed these things) sounds a lot like… Asami. That can’t be right. So she heads off to take a closer look.]
action;
[The situation had gone from reassuring to almost nightmarishly surreal. This has to be some kind of trick the City's playing on her.
What if they make you kill her?
No. No way. She's not... No. It won't happen.]
action;
[ Her resolve falters slightly when she frowns at Korra. There's no reason why she should know what's going on, because this whole situation is foreign to the both of them. She knows this because she was with Korra in the South Pole yesterday, hence the scarf around her neck (assuming Mako gave it to her for warmth. Or something).
She looks back at Asami, then an idea hits her. ]
Alright. You. Whoever you actually are. Tell me whose scarf this is.
[ Her fingers pinch Mako's scarf. ]
action;
[And don't touch that scarf! Who do you think you ARE?]
That's Mako's, and I don't know what game you're playing, but you need to stop.
action;
Korra? Is this some kind of spirit magic?
action;
action;
Besides, they look remarkably like her. Not a crooked detail in the slightest as far as she can tell.
With that, she's a little less mad at the other Asami, although her discomfort remains. Her voice softens when she addresses Korra. ]
What City curse?
action;
What City--
[She trails off as the other Asami asks the exact same question. This is spooky.]
You both really are me.
action;
action;
[She shakes her head and resists an urge to pull out her hair.]
I'm sorry.
action;
Asami sighs and looks at her other two bodies. Inspects them. Becomes a little lost in thought for a short moment: she actually looks skinnier from both of these angles. ]
You have nothing to apologize for. You kind of make it sound like you've been here for a while, though. I don't even completely understand where we are. [ She wrings her hands a little, because that's worrisome, and she hopes that isn't the case. ]
action;
Asami is confused, but at least she's in good company (is it egotistical to consider yourself good company?). Anyway, Korra seems to be taking this harder than the--than she is.]
It's not Republic City, that's for sure. [She offers Korra a smile that she doesn't really feel.] So what's this about curses?
action;
[The other two hers do look good, she admits to herself. She's never had a three dimensional mirror before. It gives her a whole new perspective.]
[After her brief vanity spell, she walks up to Korra, looking to lay a hand on her shoulder or... something. Her friend is in clear need of some comfort.]
action;
I've been here for about seven months now. This place is just called the City. Every few days, we get hit with curses. Sometimes they last a few days. [Like the ghouls who looked like her friends. A small part of Korra even now expects the three Asamis to start attacking.]
That's the only explanation I can think of for...this.
action;
So is Mako here, too? That's his scarf.
action;
Her interest flits to the scarf, but she stays quiet. If Mako and Korra are both here...
Well. She's not sure she'll need to see Mako.]
action;
[Usually. She sees that look, other self. Mako. And Korra. And.]
[But her clones (and by extension her) really are hot, aren't they? There's that.]
action;
No, he's not. He left a few months ago. A little bit before you did. We weren't -- we didn't...
[What does she even say? She and Mako had never...but they had skirted some lines. After she died. When he sacrificed his bending to bring her back to life.
Even before then. She never did tell Asami about kissing Mako. Never apologized for trying to ruin their relationship that one time. A part of her had thought she wouldn't have to, since it never went anywhere. Mako had chosen Asami, and Korra had been too busy dealing with Amon to worry about how to treat this girl who was sort of her friend, sort of not.
But now...]
I'm sorry.
action;
Perhaps it's unnecessary at this point, but she lays a comforting hand on Korra's arm as well. She could be just a fragment, a third of her true self for all she knows (even if she feels all in-tact), and in that case she suspects Korra would want reassurance from all sides of her. ]
