[It's some fabulously obscene hour of the morning when Erik bullies into life fires up his network gadget and sets it on the counter in his kitchen to use as an impromptu webcam. His kitchen and living room are attached, so through the monitor one can see not only the front window with its curtains open, but the viva-la-whathehell going on below it.
Erik himself is leaning against the window and smoking, dressed from the day before like he hasn't been to sleep, and contemplating the unfolding scene with acerbic dispassion.]
Your City suffers from a poorly organized case of Revolution, it appears. [Capital letter audible.] Are we soldiering bravely on toward anything in particular, or have we lost one too many games of Risk?
[He smokes. Acerbically, or one of those other synonyms for 'dry' his typist is running through like Kleenex.]
Circumstances being what they are, this does strike me as the ideal time to mention I'm advertising my services as a locksmith. A profession coincidentally also often dealing with securities.
[Wouldn't it be comically inaccurate if this gave anybody the impression Erik was against bloody revolution as a means of affecting change.]

video; oh my finally his handsome face.
[ Bucky's annoyed, mostly. Because it gives him more work to do in the long run and means there's a tension down in the precinct. ] Also, you should talk to Captain Rogers, he runs the force 'round here. If security's your deal he could probably help you out a little. [ Bucky keeps a gun by the door - that's so much better than locks. ]
video; /clutches
I didn't realize there was actually any kind of law enforcement on hand. Or that we were so pressed for entertainment rioting seems like an alternative to boredom.
[Erik isn't actually intrinsically opposed to rioting, he just feels riots should like, have a purpose. And Luke's explanation seems uh, suspect, if that enormous Kiwi actually is Odin and--look, there's only so much he can care.]

Well, that, and her brother went home so she's just cranky all around. No one to crack rebellion jokes with that'll scold her for bringing up the war.]
It's a mess. And if they come towards any of my shops, I can't promise I won't hex them for property damage.

It's bad enough. You'd do well to follow through on that.

I don't doubt that there are also persons genuinely at risk, but that just makes the entire affair a more condemnable waste of time. In my humble feeling.

action;
There were angry, frustrated thoughts not terribly long before it became angry, frustrated yelling. Add that to Charles being aware that Erik was awake, and also frustrated, plus his slight headache and this is how Charles appears at Erik's apartment door with a sweater pulled over his pajama top and his hair going in every single direction possible.]
I'm not sure that the hospital here has ambulances. I know it doesn't have an abundance of them, at any rate.
[That is sleep-deprived Charles for 'can't we go down there and help?]
action; take me to the riot (is the title of this thread now)
I have no idea, I haven't checked. [A sigh.]
May I assume you already have some kind of plan? Maps routed to the most vulnerable positions, that kind of thing?

It is horribly organized, isn't it?
Which may be the point. However I don't think the deities will take kindly to it and the repercussions...
[In Theo's opinion if you're going to revolt you damn well better have the power to mean business and not just rabble.]
