[It's some fabulously obscene hour of the morning when Erik ~~bullies into life~~ fires up his network gadget and sets it on the counter in his kitchen to use as an impromptu webcam. His kitchen and living room are attached, so through the monitor one can see not only the front window with its curtains open, but the viva-la-whathehell going on below it.

Erik himself is leaning against the window and smoking, dressed from the day before like he hasn't been to sleep, and contemplating the unfolding scene with acerbic dispassion.]

[He smokes. Acerbically, or one of those other synonyms for 'dry' his typist is running through like Kleenex.]

Circumstances being what they are, this does strike me as the ideal time to mention I'm advertising my services as a locksmith. A profession coincidentally also often dealing with securities.

Well.

Can he have his own island? For his mutants (and other special people whatever)? Which he is in charge of and the Lokis never, ever interfere ever because they are a sovereign nation?

If you can find another island go ahead but the Lokis reserve the right to visit sometimes. Not to do anything, just to visit.

What about a chunk of the city that can be partitioned off? Visiting rights included unless...idk unless a special mutant holiday is going on.

...I'm being at least 70% serious here, Erik would totally sit down at the negotiating table with the Lokis.

Nah, it's only like, mutant ghetto if you have to stay there and can't LEAVE. This would be a safe space where you, as a mutant, could go if you wanted to interact with ONLY other mutants. Does that make sense? They actually have something like this in Marvel at one point, creatively named "Mutant Town."
