For those of you that knew him, Percy Weasley's left the City.

Maybe he'll be back or maybe the lucky git's finally gone home. There's usually something more to say in these sorts of posts but I can't really think of anything.

But basically that means Weasley's Wizard Wheezes will be closed until further notice while things are shuffled around. Don't worry—we'll get back to stocking you lot with pranks and joke sweets in no time.

Had to stop off for something. [ He holds up the bottle with a slightly grimmer smile than his usually is. ]

And the dame who runs the place keeps giving me the stinkeye.

She's just jealous that you're sharing it with me and not her.

[Ginny takes his hand and tugs him inside, shutting the door and making her way to her bedroom because the open space of the flat itself reminds her of how Percy's not in it anymore.]

Come on. I want to ignore the network for a while.

[ He doesn't ask her if she's all right because he already knows the answer, just follows her to her room, blowing kisses at the cats because Bucky has a weakness for small fluffy animals and they're no exception. ]

Hey, I'd share a drink with the gal too but I don't think that's what she's after.

Guess I'm just lucky.

[The cats would follow but Ginny shuts her bedroom door before they can. Percy's note is on her bed and she sits on the edge of it before picking it up and holding it out to Bucky, expression quiet and gaze turbulent.]

He didn't even say goodbye.

[He said he loved her and that's better, isn't it, because of the rarity of the gesture? But the fact remains that her family keeps leaving her here without giving her the chance of a farewell. The twins showed the network their exit before contacting family and it was too late. Ron vanished without a trace. Now Percy.]

[ He looks down at the note, makes a small noise in the back of his throat as he reads it. ]

Sometimes that's the hardest part.

[ He thinks about hugging her, places the note down and looks at her. ] You gonna do okay?

[She shrugs, looking down at the floor.]

I don't know. [She's trying to be honest and that's the best she can do.] I should be. I mean, this isn't the first time, so I don't know why I'm so... [Ginny exhales, closing her eyes briefly.] I don't know.

Just because it's happened before doesn't mean it's gonna feel less hard. [ He watches her carefully. ]

An' he was your brother. Of course it ain't gonna be easy.

[She doesn't say anything to that, just shakes her head and pushes her hands through her hair, smoothing the tangled mane out of her face.]

I thought you were sharing a drink.

[ He holds out the bottle dutifully. ]

Never say I don't get you nothing.

You get me too much, if anything.

[But she still takes the offered drink and scoots back onto her bed so there's room for him if he wants to join her. Ginny leans against the headboard and unscrews the bottle, takes a swig, closes her eyes against the burn. This isn't like her, not really; her brothers did this when the others left, but she never did, she held them together.]

[ He does take the space beside her, leaning in so he can brush his shoulder against hers in a small motion of comfort. ]

Well, not gonna stop that.

[She exhales and nods, eyes still closed even as she presses her shoulder back to his in a gentle way.]

Yeah, I sussed that out around coffee date number three. [If she's smiling as she says it, it's there and gone in a flicker.] Who's going to disapprove of my making friends with blokes now?

Being a gentleman ain't a bad thing. Plus, you wouldn't want me to upset Steve, would you?

[ Leaning just as heavy back, handing her over the bottle again. ] Well, me and Clint can make that fair game. We don't approve of anyone in the City.

No, of course not. Which is why you shouldn't spend time with me when I'm like this, that'd upset anyone.

[She does take the bottle again, doesn't bother cracking an eye open when she knocks back another drink, knowing she shouldn't let herself get drunk because people will ask after her and she can't give them reason to worry. She's Ginny Weasley, for Merlin's sake. She can take it all.]

This is very disapproving behaviour.
