[The more central wards, the most secured portion of the hospital, are where the majority of patients and staff alike have been holed up for the duration of the infection. Of course, not everything they need is there, and that necessitates the occasional trip to the hospital's outer areas for a few things.
Which doesn't seem like that much of an issue; they've had a few incidents, but the hospital has been largely safe. So, cautiously, Wilson is heading down to get a few things.
He didn't count on running into a ghoul again - one that's coming specifically for him. As soon as he exits door from the stairwell onto the lower floor he's heading for, it sets upon him. His device is thrown to the ground, which is when the video switches on.
On the network, you'll see an angle from the floor upward, as Wilson struggles to push the ghoul back and off of him. The ghoul is clawing and gnashing at him, pressing forward until it manages to shove them both back through the doorway into the stairwell.
The door closes, and after a few moments, the video times out.]
[ooc: open for hospital action if so desired, network responses will be delayed ♥]

video;
Penny doesn't do that. She doesn't know her way around the hospital that well, and what would she be able to do against a ghoul? She can, however, post a frantic message and hope that Wilson responds.]
James? James, please answer, okay? If you can?
voice;
No video from his end, either.]
Penny... I'm here. I'm okay.
[Or at least he will be, which is what's important.]
voice;
Oh, geez... you have no idea how great it is to hear from you. What happened? [Besides the obvious.] You're not completely okay, are you? Do you need help?
voice;
He... he's gone now. He fell.
[He checked this time, as hard as it was to do it. He might know, on some intellectual level, that it's not really his brother, but that doesn't do much to calm the emotional response. There's a heaviness to his pause there, because of it.]
It's all right. I'm more than okay enough to get back upstairs.
voice;
[Duh, no. Fighting off something that looks like someone you care about and wants to eat you does not make a person okay in any way at all. Right now, though, physical okay-ness is more pressing.]
All right. I'll see you soon?
voice;
Yeah... I'm on my way back up, I just-- I'll stop in with one of the other doctors first.
voice;
Okay. Whenever, just... I mean, I'll be around.

It's okay... it's taken care of, now.
[Though he's clearly not happy about it.]
Thank you.

[He frowns at the visible scratches, wishing he knew more about the creatures. Will that get infected? Is it only through bites?]
video;
Yeah... it's-- I'll be all right. I'm already in the hospital.

[If. Of course.]

audio —> action?
It's a rolling network screen. And sitting on a bed in the ER waiting for the next deliria patient to try and take out a nurse means Chase is on hand to see this video as it goes up.
A minute later - long enough to grab his device and make it through the swing doors at the end of the ward, he's yelling, both down the hall and into the little machine:]
Wilson? Wilson.
audio -> action <3
He hears Chase calling through the device first, as he recovers it from where it fell. So that's how he answers, his good hand holding the injured arm at the wound on his arm as he leans back against the wall for a moment. It's just a bit awkward, holding the device in the same hand he's applying pressure to the wound with, but he can manage a short response.]
I'm here.
audio -> action
[Chase would already be edgy, leaving the central wards hasn't been on his agenda since Cameron was bitten. But waiting for news isn't much of an option, either.]
Wait.
[Along a hallway on the lower floors, he pauses just for a second.]
I see you.
action
[He's interrupted at the "wait", and at the "I see you" he relaxes.
Good. He's not sure he could give a completely accurate description right now. Having caught his breath, he lifts himself off the wall he was leaning against. He's still holding the arm - the bite's not much to write home about, of course, though he's certainly looking forward to the fever. The dislocation is really more of an issue. So he steps out, looking to see if he can spot Chase, too.]
