Video/Action after the sun goes down

[There's a worried looking Tohru, at first.] Korra, Jinora, I really hope you both aren't out in this! I'll be home soon. [In fact, the scenery behind her isn't far from the apartment she shares with them.]

But this is awful! They look like they're suffering, falling apart. But they're attacking other people! Why?

[She hears a scream and stops, jaw tightening. A first for some - Tohru looks downright angry. Well, as angry as she can look. The device shuts off right then.]


[Action]

[And when she shuts off the device she uses her bag to smack the ghoul in front of her that was about to grab and bite someone else. Of course, this does nothing to really hinder the ghoul but make it turn to growl at Tohru.] I'm sorry, but I can't let you hurt anyone!



[ooc: Feel free to be the person she just saved (maybe they didn't even need the help), jump in and save her, or just try to talk sense to her over video.]

[Tohru's voice cures her temporary paralysis. The ghoul that looks like Tenzin lunges for her and misses the girl by inches, his teeth bared.

Her dad just tried to bite her.

Jinora makes a mad dash for Tohru.] I'm coming!

[Sigh of relief. Tohru smiles a little, not paying attention at all to her surroundings.]

Hurry! [She waves so Jinora can find her.]

[Hurry she does, blasting away a ghoul that's sneaking up on Tohru as she catches up with her.] Let's go!

Ah! [Tohru pulls away and stares at the spot the ghoul had been.] I'm sorry! I should pay better attention! [She begins running again once Jinora is by her side. This time, she's not going without her!]

[Less talking and more running! Jinora grabs Tohru's hand, just to make sure the older girl knows she's there and won't stop to look back for her.]

[It helps. Tohru runs a little faster with Jinora's hand in hers, gently squeezing it for reassurance. She never looks back, either, not even when they get to the apartment.]

Should we barricade ourselves?!

We can't, not with Korra out there.

The monsters can't open doors, can they?

You're right! How could I be so horrible to not think of her.... [Tohru, this isn't time for that.]

[Slow look of horror.] I don't know. Do you think they can? [Staring at the door, now.]

[bookbending]

Don't worry, Tohru.

[She's terrified. Regardless...]

I'll wait by the door, just in case.

[Shaking, Tohru goes into the kitchen, grabs a ladle, then returns to stand right by Jinora.] Th-then, I'll wait with you.

[bookbending]

[A ladle? Jinora smiles shakily.]

You're really brave.

[What a terrifying sight they'll be if anything--or Korra--manages to get in.]

No, I'm not. Not really. But I'm not going to let anything get through here. Or leave you here alone! We'll do this together. [Even if she sucks at it.]

See? You are brave.

[It's the thought that counts.]

If you say so, then maybe it's true. [She isn't sure, herself. She doesn't feel brave, but she'll stand there. Korra's going to come home to an uninfected house!]
