004 - [ video ] - pre-Merlin/Angel Sanctuary/Blood+ break out log

[ at first, it's just the sound of murmuring, of fingers brushing through lush, thick hair. And then the covers shift and split and there's a sudden, close up view of Diva's face practically pressed against Saya's. ]

Wake up, sister dear. We have company.

[ She giggled, softly as she shifted again, her nightgown riding up her hip, bunching near her waist. But that's difficult to see as close as the phone is (practically) resting between their breasts. It's just sound and then Diva turns and sets the phone back on the headboard, a passing vision of Saya's rather limp form showing on the screen, the flash of white tying Saya's wrists loosely to the board. But for what reason would Diva care if any one man or woman saw it?

Saya was hers.

Diva was Saya's.

At last, they were exactly where they were supposed to be. And then the feed turns off as Diva presses close and kisses Saya softly on the mouth. It's a kiss of waking, nothing more.

I'm on it. I've been following this thing for a while. We've just been unsure how to deal with it.

You know more about this than anyone else, Setsuna. Do you have any recommendations?

Unfortunately, no. Karl is really hard to deal with. Diva more so. I have no idea how she fights.

Especially because I'd rather no one get hurt in this.

Because, technically, Saya went to them on her own. Which makes the whole thing really murky.

There aren't codified laws here. It doesn't need to be murky.

I'm not going alone. I've got three other people with me. Two of them I'm fairly certain can handle battle, and one I know from experience can handle super natural situations. But if you would prefer another member of the force with me, let me know someone willing.

True, but they are her family. It's murky as far as I'm concerned, until Saya herself tells me she wants out of there. ...we're still going.

What's there to be unsure about?

[She's not usually this tetchy. But after finding Charlie beaten almost to death, and seeing her student like this... It rankles.]

We're dealing with supernatural beings here. Most of the force is human. Last thing I want is them jumping in with me and getting killed over it.

And Saya...originally decided to leave and go with them on her own. This however, I don't think she counted on it.

You've already done enough in contacting us. I'm glad someone out there cares enough to see this and say something about it.

[It doesn't feel like enough. She's a Starfleet officer. It's her job to protect people. But working in Starfleet doesn't make her a soldier or a cop. She's a linguist. She can handle herself in a barfight and she can fire a phaser in self-defense, but she's the one left to command the bridge while others go on away missions.]
