[This is the first time in weeks that Naga has left Korra's side. While Korra goes to meet Arthur, Naga finally takes the opportunity to get out of the City. She's a wild animal, and the tall buildings and busy streets upset her.

You might run into if you're at:

• the forest
• the drowning pool
• the city limits

It's been an interesting few weeks. Best be careful around her.]

[He opens his mouth a little to scent her - female, whatever she is, that much carries over, and moves cautiously towards her. He's not in any rush.

She's huge, that's for sure, and used to humans, otherwise she might have run already, or attacked him, one of the two]

[A second sniff would likely reveal more details, and a scent that a combination that should not be possible. Part polar bear, part wolf, but neither one nor the other.

She lets him get closer. There's a low grumble in her chest, not threatening so much as confused. There is something in his scent that reminds her of the wolf, but his appearance is entirely human. Of all the strange creatures she has met, she has never encountered one that appears human but is not.]

Shh. We're all right.

[He doesn't like people, because mostly they just hurt you, but he likes animals, even if they don't necessarily like him.]

What are you?

[She'd answer, if she had words. But his words are all meaningless noise to her, except that they are human noises. The tone communicates far more effectively. It's the tone of a friend.

She cautiously brings her nose to his hands, the better to sniff him. If he reaches out to touch her, she won't object.]

[He touches her nose, very very softly, and then reaches his hand to her ear to scratch behind it carefully. He moves slowly but smoothly, not jerking or fast.]

You're something.

[anatural]

[He hits just the spot, and Naga's tail wags slowly as she leans into his hand.]

[He smiles and moves in closer, scratching a little more, keeping his motions smooth and slow. Anyone who saw him right now wouldn't recognize him.]

[Naga is not shy about directing him, pushing against his hand and moving her head so that he'd hit every desired spot.

Congratulations, sir. You've just made a friend.]

[He huffs a laugh - a real laugh - and does what she wants]

A sound in the trees captures her attention. Prey. She may like this strange not-human, but he is not nearly as interesting as the prospect of a fresh kill. In a heartbeat, she goes after it.]
