[ it's a cat. what do you do with a cat, tony has no idea. it likes being pet, so far, apparently, it's stood up on it's hind limbs for more. He crouches down to pet it more comfortably, scratching along the sides and rubbing the ears and just in general being kind of happy because he never had a cat and as an adult never had a cat, and never saw the need for one, but really. a cat. ]

[Thunderous purring. Luke reaches up to bap at Tony's jaw with a single paw and then pushes his head up against him.

After which he sort of flops sideways, paws up at Tony's hands a moment and then kind of squirms into a long belly-up catfluff worm.

[Luke tries to bite Tony's pet-hand for the hell of it and then rolls back over, tail twitching, folding up his feet and legs into a catloaf. And then...]

[ He backs up a bit, because hey, you just got bigger, and you're leaning towards him, and he wasn't really looking for company at all today anyway - which might be why he was sort of totally okay with the cat, actually. Tony's eyebrows suitably raise at the 'my thing' bit but he doesn't really react beyond that. He doesn't know how to deflect an apology when he doesn't have access to his words, and somehow even more doesn't know what to do when the person he got it from is in front of him.

[He moves to sit, crosslegged.] I'm sure you already know cutting it doesn't work. If it's not out by tomorrow, Bruce is apparently able to surgically remove it, which didn't occur to me last time. In case it doesn't to you.

although he's kind of intrigued as to how surgical removal would be different than cutting it. like, how would that not also be protected. perhaps the puzzlement on his face will tip luke off to that, even if it's not likely an avenue he'll pursue until it is tomorrow if he still has this shit happening - he's already had Luke and Steve bust in and find him; he doesn't want anyone else to see it. ]

It happened rather a long time ago. My only course of action then was to tear my mouth open around the thread. Bruce's method is better.
