Mad as it is, I've always been fond of these weekends.

[Ginny smiles, looking up from the very full plate of breakfast that her mother's pulled together. Sausages, eggs, tomatoes, toast, everything. It's the most she's had to eat in days considering how anxious she's been, but she can't say no to Molly Weasley, can she?]

And not just because Mum's around to cook for us. I suppose you learn to appreciate them when you've been here for a bit, since it's not just running into friends from home but friends you've met here, too. So if we know each other and you're wandering around, come say hello, won't you? I'll be rather cross if you don't.

It's been... Merlin, I suppose it's been almost two years now? I've been here since I arrived, yeah. Four years in December, if you'll believe it. I know I can't. Percy's here, though. Got here a bit after you'd gone.

Twenty exactly. I was sixteen when I got here, d'you remember? I'm a proper adult, now.

[She just hasn't quite grown up the way she should.]

Especially off, and you're meant to be in your thirties. Twenty doesn't seem like proper adulthood.

Merlin's beard, I'd rather not be in my thirties right now, thanks. Is that where you are, then?

That's right. Mum's visiting, if you couldn't tell. Trying to feed an army, as usual.

That's good, then. I have a few places I've got to be. Maybe not as drastic as it's been before, with no way out, but I'd face a wrath or two if I ended up running years late.

Well, you're years late to me. I haven't seen you in forever, not counting the bit where I actually got to go home to finish the war. So, do I get to see you at all or am I just going to pretend to hug you through the network?

I just can't remember exactly where it is, that's all. I'd probably turn up in the middle of nowhere.
