He feels bad that he thought she would do that even with Estelle! But he's more than happy to going back to thinking they're normal friends.

With that, he turns off the device, shoves it in the drawer (not the one with the doll!), and...takes a shower before going to bed. Even with that, though, sleep doesn't come that easily, and he's up early. He justifies this by reasoning that he did say she could come any time, and who's to say she won't come early?

Not that she's usually awake this early unless she was up all night... ]

Just normal friends! Rita does feel completely different about Estelle and Tyr. And despite all the awkwardness, Rita does fall asleep easily later on--after cleaning up from the oil--likely thanks to Estelle's massage.

It isn't until later on, about midday, that she sends Tyr a message to let him know she's coming over. A part of her feels flustered still, but she really does want to try this out.]

Normal friends are best! Or Tyr definitely thought that until last month. By the time he receives Rita's message, he's wide awake, clean (again), and feeling better about seeing her. It feels a little silly to keep worrying about something they can just forget about...

He returns to message to tell her she can just come in. When she does, he'll be waiting on the couch for her in a light, long-sleeved shirt and otherwise dressed as casually as usual. Does it really feel a little warmer today? ]

Having normal friends and someone to love...Definitely the best. She doesn't bother knocking before she opens the door and steps in and, finding him on the couch, she smiles at him.]

[The weather's gotten pretty weird (what's with the sand?), but she's shown up wearing the snowflake stockings--and the blue dress. He did want to see how they matched, after all, and Rita has to say it was a good choice.]

It's everything they could want. There's no words for how pleased she is at seeing his expression light up.

And a hug! It wasn't all that long ago that she might've asked him what was wrong if he did that, but not anymore. They don't need a reason to hug each other. Rita automatically wraps her arms around him in return.]

Regardless, she's happy to see him, and smiles up at him. He definitely seems better, too, and she's glad for that.] Really? I almost felt like I could've slept all day. Estelle really knows her stuff.
