[ He's holding up a sugar dispenser, that's all the video feed consists of, Bucky's hand as he turns it around, watching the yellow grains turn over and over. ] Sand. [ Captain obvious, but he seems to figure there's something off about it. ] That's the third thing today that's had sand in it an' it's early hours yet.

[ And it is, he's in the diner pretty early, probably pleased that he doesn't take anything in his coffee. Hopefully it didn't have sand in it, but it looks so far, so good. Bucky needs that.

Because this is at least distracting, so what the hell. ] Anyone got any ideas?

Yeah, I'm gonna build a memorial to our table.

[ He's a jerk. Also, taking that swept up stuff away now.]

In sand and splinters?

The last time we tried to build something we managed a board on top of two cinderblocks.

[ Coming back, and immediately invading Steve's space. ] Can you sit for me for a second?

[punchedhitler]

[Steve looks puzzled for a second, but then he sits]

And the most un-handy men in Brooklyn.

[ If he leaves too much of an opening for himself, he'll never do it, so Bucky just twists on his foot, and the next thing either of them know, he's straddling Steve on the couch. He huffs out a breath, slides his fingers around Steve's wrist to lift his arm, and very carefully presses a kiss to already healing skin. It's too light to be anything but the ghost of a touch, but Bucky's grin is a little wonky anyway. ]

Better?

[punchedhitler]

Oh.

[Steve is looking at Bucky's face with wide eyes, and then his gaze follows to the kiss]

Yeah.

[His smile is silly and a little goofy - he kind of likes it when Bucky takes the initiative.]

[ He promised not to push Steve, and he won't, he wouldn't, but that doesn't mean he can't charm him anyway. Fingers curling into the fabric at his shoulder, Bucky tips forward slightly, presses his lips to corner of Steve's mouth, before trailing back, claiming another kiss, something slow and sweet. ]

[punchedhitler]

[Steve can't help but kiss back, his free arm going around Bucky's waist. This isn't pushing. This is sweet and slow and Steve is smiling, his eyes closed]

You keep doing that, and we'll never get anything done.

Kinda the point.

[ Mischievous grin, which used to proceed someone falling out of a tree. ] Maybe I have to keep you away from your sketch pad, huh?

[punchedhitler]

[That smile is a killer, and Steve is kind of melting]

You'd hate having my attention all the time.

[yourbestguysgun]

Now where'd you get an idea like that? [ Smug. ] I bet I'd like your undivided attention.

[punchedhitler]

[He kisses Bucky again, this one a little more drawn out]

You'd go crazy. You'd end up telling me to get a hobby.

[yourbestguysgun]

I think your hobby should be kissing me, jus' saying.

[ Look, you are very attractive, okay? ] Besides, I'd let you out occasionally.

[punchedhitler]

Instead of just drawing you?

[A lot, just saying.]

Well, yeah. Kissing me is much more fun.

[punchedhitler]

I don't think I'm allowed to disagree when you're in my lap like this.

[Because if Bucky shifts even a little forward he's gonna find out something about Cap he didn't know before.]

So I think I'll go with yes.

[ You better be pleased to see him, Steve. Or he'll throw himself out the window.

Grinning. ] I'd only hurt ya a little if you said no.

[punchedhitler]

[No, no windows, no heights.]

I don't know, I do like to draw.

[yourbestguysgun]

[ Punching him in the shoulder. ] See.

[punchedhitler]

[Steve takes the punching hand in his own and leans forward for another kiss]

Yeah, I see a lot.

[yourbestguysgun]

[ Grinning against the kiss, Bucky just winds his fingers in the shorter strands of hair at the nape of his neck. ]

Maybe I'm just conditionin' you to know not kissing me results in pain. If I keep hitting you, it's gotta work sometime.

[punchedhitler]

I'm not a dog, Bucky. You can't train me like one.

[Not that Bucky would ever hit a dog]

Did this work for any of the dames you were with?

[Steve is legit curious as most of them pretty much ignored him]

So far, you're the only one who's ever put up a fight.

[ But he says it affectionately, because Bucky wouldn't change this, tugging on the ends of his hair lightly. ] Too damn stubborn.
