[ He's holding up a sugar dispenser, that's all the video feed consists of, Bucky's hand as he turns it around, watching the yellow grains turn over and over. ] Sand. [ Captain obvious, but he seems to figure there's something off about it. ] That's the third thing today that's had sand in it an' it's early hours yet.

[ And it is, he's in the diner pretty early, probably pleased that he doesn't take anything in his coffee. Hopefully it didn't have sand in it, but it looks so far, so good. Bucky needs that.

Because this is at least distracting, so what the hell. ] Anyone got any ideas?

[ Grinning against the kiss, Bucky just winds his fingers in the shorter strands of hair at the nape of his neck. ]

Maybe I'm just conditionin' you to know not kissing me results in pain. If I keep hitting you, it's gotta work sometime.

I'm not a dog, Bucky. You can't train me like one.

[Not that Bucky would ever hit a dog]

[Steve is legit curious as most of them pretty much ignored him]

So far, you're the only one who's ever put up a fight.

[ But he says it affectionately, because Bucky wouldn't change this, tugging on the ends of his hair lightly. ] Too damn stubborn.

[Although honestly Steve would do anything to keep Bucky happy, so.]

[punchedhitler]

I'm not saying that.

[Because he is charming]

I've been bruising your ego since you were eight, if I stop now you'll get complacent.

[ Laughing at that. ] Oh, I get it, keeping my down is your job.

[punchedhitler]

I can't trust the army to do it.

M'so glad I have you, Steve.

[ Rolling his eyes, but he's still snickering, prods him on the shoulder again. ]

[punchedhitler]

[Steve grins at that]

You could have a lesson on how you show it, though.

Is that so? And how should I show it?

[punchedhitler]

[Steve flips them quick so Bucky's on his back on the couch and Steve is above, straddling him]

Well, a little more respect for your commanding officer would be nice.

[Even though Bucky still sees the skinny boy from Brooklyn, and Steve doesn't ever want that to change]

[ Woah.

It takes Bucky a beat to long to answer, because he wasn't expecting that, and truth be told, it's does more for him than he ewver lets on. ]

Well, y'could try and court martial me, but I'd kick your ass.

[punchedhitler]

Nah, I don't like the idea of having to deal with all the paperwork.

[He leans down for a kiss, this one way more possessive than before]

[ And he definitely likes that, if the breathless sound he makes is anything to go by. ]

Mmf. [ And okay, what were they talking about? ] You're a quick learner.

[punchedhitler]

[He's being really careful but even Steve can't always always control himself because Bucky isn't the only one breathing heavily]

Well that isn't something you can thank Howard for.

I would'a written him a thank you letter.

[ Hand on the back of Steve's neck, and just dragging him back down for another kiss. ]

[punchedhitler]

[Steve's kiss is a little breathless, now]

When it comes to this, you're the only one I get to practice with, all right?

[yourbestguysgun]

Yeah, I'd hate to have to punch you again.

[ Bucky hums a little, eyes sliding over Steve's face for a moment. Teasing. ] It'd ruin the mood.

[punchedhitler]

No punching.

[He takes a deep breath]

I'm gonna have to stop soon.

[Or he'll get off on top of Bucky.]

Okay.

[ And he doesn't seem phased, just grins. He might have to fake a reason for another shower though. ] I guess m'too hot for you to handle.
