I'm a pyrokinetic. I can have walkways cleaned with ease with almost no effort.

Forgive me - my name is Loki. I have some experience in the field of magic. Is that how you have come by such an ability?

Nope. I'm the only one like me back home.

You offer this ability freely here, though it is of great value. Why?

Because the likelihood of people killing me because of it is significantly reduced here.

You believe they would do so in your own realm.

That would be short-sighted in the extreme. Surely your life would be in no danger. You would be far too valuable to them for that.

I have first hand knowledge that they're stupid enough to try.
