[She hadn't even followed any Wisps and here she finds herself facing a boy talking chance and luck.] I think I've had my fill of games of chance.

[She looks around, entirely confused about what is happening. Nothing looks familiar.]

[He tips his head.] This is, for lack of a better name, the City. It kidnaps people.

The City? [She frowns confused.] A place can do that? [Well now she's heard everything.]
