[There's a crash and a giant paw obscures the view for a moment before it's replaced by a black nose attached to puppy. With devilish doggie delight the device disappears into the puppy's maw as the puppy runs away.]

No! Don't - that's not a... toy thing!

[It's hard to tell from the inside of a dog's mouth, but it sounds like there's running involved.]

Not into the shop - the shoes... Someone catch that dog!

[Suddenly you can see again as the puppy barks, dropping the device and running off, Cinna's neat and immaculately cared for shoes run after it.]



[ooc: Open to anything and everything, even action of you feel like helping Cinna corral his new puppy in the shop. BRING IT.]

[Being dead again wasn't really so bad....it was just like she went back to sleep, and she was waking up again, dead but not fully, back in the City. She has a feeling it won't last, but...

Well, best to make the most of it, right?

So, Rue heads off to Cinna's shop. And she can't help but smile at seeing the puppy.]

You got a dog!

Eeeeee!

[He pauses in his chase to laugh out loud. Darling Rue, the best thing about these days are the second chances they all get.]

And now I have a little Rue-bird, too. Care to help me catch him, he's quite fast.

:D I knooow! I missed her. Maybe I should re-app her.

[She smiles and laughs, nodding.]

Of course, Cinna.

[And off she goes, fast as a little bird, going to get your dog!]

Cinna would dote all over her

[He's... just going to let her. Al the energy of youth. He spends far too much time sitting and drawing or making adjustments to chase after a puppy like this.]

Try and keep him away from the shoes, please. He's developing a taste for them.

I think I could do it. I'd need to get into her mind again, but I could do it...:D

[She smiles, nodding.]

Do all dogs just go after shoes?

[Following behind, he chuckles.] It's the leather, I think, it's good for his teeth and bad for my business.

He's young, he could be teething, and the leather is easy to chew on...or maybe he knows it irritates you.

All are likely choices. [He's still following, waving off the staff that wanted to help. He and rue could manage just fine.]

[This isn't working...but Rue has an idea.]

I have an idea...let me try something different.

[She moves to hide, positioning herself to jump and grab the puppy when he runs by.]

[Seeing what she's doing, he happily helps by by chasing the puppy right towards to her.]

[And when he gets close, she jumps, grabbing him without hurting him.]

Gotcha!!

Splendid!

[Cinna and a few of the staff clapped for Rue as Cinna put a hand on her shoulder to lead her upstairs. He also motioned to the staff to put an order for cookies and cakes to be sent up to his office.]

Come on, let's take him back upstairs.

Good idea.

[She smiles and nods, standing up, carrying the puppy upstairs with her.]

[Once inside, he closes the door and heads to his desk, pulling out a knotted rope-toy.]

He likes these, you might try giving it to him to play with.

[Rue nods, smiling and taking the toy, teasing the dog with it.]

So, how have you been, Cinna?

I've been doing just fine. It's been a little boring around here without all of you here.

[He's not going to burden Rue with the last few months of this place.]

...They all went home then too. I'm sorry, Cinna...

[They didn't mean to leave him alone here.]

Yes they did, but some of them are back today, I'm certain. None of you could help it.

[There's a knock at the door and Cinna goes to get the tray of goodies.]

Here, why don't we have a snack and then perhaps we'll take him for a walk.

[He sets the the tray down and starts pouring some tea for them both.]

Is there anything you'd like to do while you're here?

[She smiles, taking a cookie.]

Anything, really, would be nice.

We could go to the Gardens, I'm sure the puppy would like a nice big area to run around in for awhile.

The gardens sound great! I think he'd like that, given how much energy he has...
