Now this is remarkable. I've been made to understand that this is a regular event around here, this sudden seemingly free influx of unexpected visitors. One with a limited timespan as well, from my understanding. Which means it is vital to make the most of this research opportunity while it's presented itself.
Certainly somewhere there must be some indication as to the manner of the connection between this dimension and others - more apparent now than typically - and how it has been possible for those of us whose stays here are somewhat less transitory to find ourselves achieving transdimensional passage to begin with...
[And his voice trails off as he gets distracted by planning his research. The connection goes quiet for a few moments before it cuts off.]
[ooc: HAVE AT HIM. Also, this post is so backdating friendly, it's got its own damn flux capacitor.]

I have met individuals who have experience traveling between dimensions, prior to their arrival here. That sort of transit is theoretical in my own reality, but given other research I've completed, I see no reason to doubt the potential behind such theories.
[Not that he has a lot of doubt for any theories.]

[ ... she knows it's real. ]
I guess you won't think I'm crazy if I say it is back at my home. My boyfriend ... It'd just be nice if time travel wasn't a power at home and was something anyone could have.
[ which is bad but, you know, she wants to go stop simon from travelling back in time. #priorities. ]

[Okay, he's done with the evasiveness on the subject.]
In my world, time travel is written off as mere science fiction - mistakenly, I should note. People often forget that science fiction does have a basis in fact, and upon numerous occasions has served as a predictor for advancements to come. I can tell you that it's certainly possible, but achieved via technological advancement and engineering rather than as some sort of an innate ability.
Though, it's hardly an ability that everyone should have access to. That would most assuredly lead to the catastrophic destruction of the entire space-time continuum.

So, have you time travelled before?
