[ accidental video / open action ]

[The video clicks on at an angle, giving the network a view of the soccer pitch at Westerberg. It's finals and summer's right around the corner so it's empty for now—save one player, distinguishable by her bright red hair. It's Ginny, of course, captain of the girl's team and taking the afternoon to unwind after her final exams with a ball and a wide expanse of open field all to herself.

With or without a team and game around her, it's clear she's good at what she does as she works through lightning-fast footwork drills and a few fancier tricks that won't be seen in an actual match but appeal more to her show-offish nature. In other words, this Ginny is no different from the Quidditch player she is normally, and it's obvious her talent on a broom and in the air translates well to a soccer ball on the ground.

She goes at it for a long while, finishing off with a strong kick that sends the ball flying into the goal across the way, and then she makes her way back to the bench where the camera is, picks up a hand towel and mops it across her face and around her neck as she catches her breath. She's picking up her water bottle when she pauses, looks down, and rolls her eyes when she notices the red light blinking.]

Brilliant.

[She heaves a theatrical sigh, picks up the phone, and then grins (because, really, as annoying as it is to be caught unawares, she doesn't mind nearly as much as she pretends).]

Finals're over and done with, I reckon I've earned a bit of fun before the madness around the dance starts. Hope you lot enjoyed the show.

[He looks immensely uncomfortable holding the ball, but his jaw is set determinedly. He did take PE, after all, but he was rubbish at it.]

[And then she lines up her own kick and executes it smoothly and swiftly, sending the ball sailing back into the goal.]

He takes his sweet time lining up the kick, checking for the wind and terrain levelness - and then when he can't justify wasting any more time, he kicks the ball.

It goes sailing ... in the opposite direction.]

[Yeah, she tries to be kind. Really. She does. But she just sort of crumples into herself with laughter, a hand clapped over her mouth in some attempt of reining it in. But... nope.]

Sorry, I'm sorry, that was just—how did you manage that?
