[The video clicks on at an angle, giving the network a view of the soccer pitch at Westerberg. It's finals and summer's right around the corner so it's empty for now—save one player, distinguishable by her bright red hair. It's Ginny, of course, captain of the girl's team and taking the afternoon to unwind after her final exams with a ball and a wide expanse of open field all to herself.

With or without a team and game around her, it's clear she's good at what she does as she works through lightning-fast footwork drills and a few fancier tricks that won't be seen in an actual match but appeal more to her show-offish nature. In other words, this Ginny is no different from the Quidditch player she is normally, and it's obvious her talent on a broom and in the air translates well to a soccer ball on the ground.

She goes at it for a long while, finishing off with a strong kick that sends the ball flying into the goal across the way, and then she makes her way back to the bench where the camera is, picks up a hand towel and mops it across her face and around her neck as she catches her breath. She's picking up her water bottle when she pauses, looks down, and rolls her eyes when she notices the red light blinking.]

Brilliant.

[She heaves a theatrical sigh, picks up the phone, and then grins (because, really, as annoying as it is to be caught unawares, she doesn't mind nearly as much as she pretends).]

Finals're over and done with, I reckon I've earned a bit of fun before the madness around the dance starts. Hope you lot enjoyed the show.

[She whips around at the clapping, then bursts into laughter when she sees who it is, half waving off the praise, but mostly bowing to accept it.]

Anything to please you, Bucky.

Oh you. People might talk.

[ Of course, he's shouting that over a soccer pitch, because he is a moron. Also he thinks Ginny is cool. ]

[ Clint doesn't have time for most of the popular kids, they're too up themselves for his cool, calm, stoic existence, but he's always got time for Ginny, and she's actually good out on the field. ]

Show was great, lacked popcorn, though.

[Ginny grins at him as she works on braiding her hair back, teasing,]

[Well, she thinks he's cool right back. She's still half-yelling across the pitch as she crosses over to talk to him properly, towel slung around her neck and water bottle still in hand.]

Let them talk! I love a good scandal.

[Are she and Potter a scandal? Who even knows.]

I think the question should be when haven't I made a big deal out of random plots?

[If she's discarded her sweaty jersey for something a bit cooler, then it's hers.]

No, I didn't hear. [She raises an eyebrow.] Anything I should know?

[She flips the finished braid over her shoulder and sets her hands on her hips, amused.]

Should I? Is that why you've come all the way down here?

It was either this or a boring lecture for the Maths exam, give me some credit. But I was gonna ask you at some point.

[Don't get too creepy now, Clint, she can probably kick your arse. Or make a fantastic attempt at it. But she also knows boys will be boys and they've been more so since Harry ran off.

Ginny laughs, not unkindly.]

And I suppose I should be flattered, eh, Barton? [She shakes her head.] You've picked a fine time to flirt, catch a girl when she's at her sweatiest. You couldn't wait?

[troubler]

[ He would willingly let her kick his are day. But he behaves, lifts his gaze, because he's not a creep. ]

I find it helps to get the worst over with first.
