[ With those few final touches Eagle helps the older gentleman maneuver the rather large cake into the freezer. At least it was probably a cake. It was a little difficult to make out any clear details from this distance.

Just as the freezer door shuts that is when the marshmallow army attacks. The small globs of white fluff have the advantage of surprise but unfortunately for them a weakness to laser swords. They find many of their number toasted in the first few moments of battle until they unleash their greatest weapon of all… powdered sugar!

The crippling powder obscures the camera’s view and chokes the lungs of anyone unlucky enough to be in it’s sugary maelstrom. ]

[OOC: Point and laugh as Eagle is defeated by sweets or help take back the Candy Shoppe? ^,^ ]

[But they have little toothpick swords and frosting weapons... oh fine.]

Step on them... or maybe invest in a few water guns. They should be weak to water too.

[Deep sigh. ]

It will just take a while to clean up all of this.

[ Do you need combat boots to face the big bad toothpicks, Eagle... ]

I'll help you with that part... As for the water, though... Doesn't your sink have a hose attached? You could take out plenty of them with that.

Thank you Tyr. As a reward you can have as many free marshmallows as you can capture.

[Eagle smiles just as a glob of frosting flies across the room to spatter all over the communicator screen. ]

What...? Frosting guns?

[If only they wore the same size!]

...You're really going to need help cleaning up. Maybe you should just let them go until the curse lets up.

It's something to consider...

[There is some chattering in the background. It is a bit difficult to make out. ]

They what?

It doesn't look like that is an option anymore. They appear to have taken my chef hostage by locking him in the pantry.

[Locked in a pantry by marshmallows could this day get any stranger?
Well, nothing for it then. Eagle almost smirks.]

I will have to form a strategy and stage a counter attack.

[It has been a while since he has been able to lead a raid. Part of him was actually looking forward to this. ]

[ ...That smile, Eagle.

It feels silly to start a fight against marshmallows, but they're monsters just like any other ones now, right? ]

In that case, I'll be right over. We can work a plan out together.

Besides, you look a little outnumbered.

[Food fight! What harm could a marshmallow really do anyway? ]

Alright, that sounds like fun. I will try to secure at least the front of the house before you arrive so we can have a stable base of operations.

[Setting up a Command center, yeah!]

[ About to be famous last words, no doubt. ]

All right, I'll be counting on that. In the mean time, how exactly do you want to approach them?

[ Party time-! ]

The back door to the shop is locked. Those marshmallows will have trapped themselves in the kitchen. That gives us an advantage I think since they won't be able to escape out into the street.

If I can find enough employees we could even counter attack on two fronts, one group coming in through the display area and another through the locked back entrance.

[Eagle proudly holds up a key to the locked backdoor. Those poor marshmallows have no idea how much trouble they could be in with two Commanders coming after them.]

And then we can just surround them and attack them from both fronts. If you have enough employees, it shouldn't be a problem... Other than the fact that they're so small...

[ So they could easily hide and attack them like that... Tricky situation. ]

Yes, unfortunately there are a lot of little places they could hide in there. Not to mention the kinds of weapons they might be able to find. They are probably setting up some kind of defensive barrier now.

Is there any way you can cut off their supplies to weapons? Cutting off water, sealing the doors remotely...

We could certainly cut off the power before going in. That should prevent them from using things like electricity or the ovens against us.
The cut off for the water is in the basement with the circuit breaker so we should be able to turn that off as well before we attack.

[ He nods. ]

How about I take care of the water and you can take care of the electricity?

Since we have things under control here I can do that.

The water shutoff valve should be on the right side of the room on the wall furthest away from the stairs. Do you think you can find it?

[ He nods. ] It shouldn't be that hard. I have a light I can use, too, so don't worry about me. [ He pulls out what looks like a tiny, metal flashlight attached to a cord around his neck. ]

[How very convenient. ]

I should have known you would have something like that.

[Always prepared? ^,^ ]

Then I will be off to see about the power. I don't believe the marshmallows have made it to the basement but be careful anyway.

[ Tyr doesn't like not being able to see. ]

I will. I have a few ways to take them out if I see them...

...Anything I should know about down there if I use fire magic?

[ Explosives..... ]

[Explosives? In a candy store? ^^]

Just the gas for the hot water heater...

[Thinking.]

And the sprinkler system. I wonder if the fire suppression system is setup downstairs or not. You might get wet if it is.

[ Like cooking oil! ]

I'd rather not mess with the gas for your heater anyway... I'll stick with my staff.

That might be safer.

[Down into the dark areas of the basement they suddenly become darker as Eagle shuts off the power.
So much for the marshmallows toaster attack plan, there will be no way to launch the steaming hot toast with no power. They will have to rethink things. ]

[ And they dare not actually go into the toasters to get the bread! They'd melt! ]

Maybe.

[ Nice thing about a pen-sized flashlight?

Tyr can tuck it behind his ear as he walks so his hands are both free. It's not exactly a search light, but it's better than tripping in the dark. ]

[There are holes in any poorly crafted plan, so it was with the toast. ]

There, I have this end sorted out. I will head back the the main shop area and wait for you to finish with your part.

[ It can't be that hard to find and turn off water, right? But wow, this place is big and dark and hopefully without toothpick sabres because Tyr has a history of being stabbed in the foot. ]

It looks like they made a run on the door up here but they weren't able to get through.

[Yikes! Beware of rusty nails too then. Basements are notoriously messy. ]
