The 58th Song
Oh, it's this weekend again!
Wow, there's a lot of people here...I wonder if Eugene or Mother are here...
Well, if you new people get thirsty, you're free to stop by the Jasmine Dragon! Best tea in the City!
[She'll regret this as soon as they're overwhelmed with customers.]
[[ooc: 4th wall weekend, yay!]]

[They're rare for him, sadly.]
[Action]
Still, she smiles, sitting down next to him.]
[Action]
You seem happy here.

There's something I want to do when I get home...but I know that time is funny, and when I get home, I'll just pick up right where I left off. So I'm not worried about that. When I go home, I'll see the lanterns, and right now, I'll enjoy life!
[She grins, before frowning.]
What about you? Do you miss home?
[Action]
Me? No! Not right now, anyway. I know I'll be gone in a couple of days too, and I haven't had free time in forever so I think I'll just enjoy myself.
[He chuckles quietly.]
But as much as I could tell myself I wouldn't miss home, I don't think I'd like being here for an unknown time, so much. I'd miss the people, a lot, too. Even if one of them is a pompous, infuriating prat.
[And he says the last bit in the most fond way possible.]
[Action]
That's how I felt about Flynn when I first met him! We get along a lot better now...I know, its sort of weird not knowing how long we're here for...but it's not like you'll never see home again, right?
[Action]
What lanterns were you talking about?
Re: [Action]
I know they're not for me, but I've always felt so connected to them...
[Action]
That sounds really pretty.
[Action]
When I go home, I'm going to see them up close...
[Action]
[He could just imagine it, and...
Hm.]
You've gone long without them, though, haven't you? Ah, you were going to tell me about your hair?
[He wanted to know and figure out if maybe... it would be fine to show her something.]
[Action]
...can you keep a secret?
[Action]
Which means yes.
[He's been keeping a huge secret from his closest friends for years, so it's all good.]
[Action]
Okay.
[She looks around nervously for a quick second before she starts to sing.]
Flower, gleam and glow...let your power shine...make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine...
[And as she sings, her hair does indeed glow, the healing magic flowing through it.]
Heal what has been hurt...change the fate's design...save what has been lost, bring back what once was mine...what once was mine...
[And as she slowly stops singing, the glow in her hair slowly fades away, the magic slowly going back dormant. She's still biting her lip nervously.]
[Action]
It's... fascinating, most of all.]
So it... heals?
[She can stop biting her lip. His expression is more curious than shocked, or anything else.]
[Action]
Uh huh...and that's why it's so long. If I cut it...
[She moves slightly, pulling back her hair to reveal one short, brown lock.]
...it loses its power, and it turns brown.
[Action]
[There's just a really great urge of doing something for her, so should he...
He shouldn't, really. He can see Gaius's stern expression and that extra quirk to an already quirked eyebrow telling him that he better not think of doing something stupid, but. Screw that.]
How would the lanterns go over the sky, when you watched them? If... that makes sense.
[Action]
[They sort of looked like this, actually: http://www.charmedeventsplanning.com/absolutelycharmed/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/tangled3.png, http://www.pushing-pixels.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/tangled-artwork0.jpg]
[Action]
He probably couldn't make thousands of floating lights, but at least some, from the other end of the room somewhere. It would be a little different from taking them from already burning candlelights, but he'd be fine.]
Turn off the lights? I'm going to show you something.
[Action]
[She nods and goes to get the lights, and lo, it is dark.]
[Action]
Then, as he it starts ascending, he creates one more, and continues that way.]
[Action]
You...you're making floating lights...
[And her face just lights up like a child at Christmas.]
