[Dawn has been busy today. She's picked up Tony's dry cleaning, ordered coffee and donuts delivered to each City Solutions department with a little note that reads 'Have a good day. -Dawn Summers'. She's moving from department to department in the City Solutions building checking on projects and progress just to see where everyone is at this point and what supplies need to be ordered. Yep, she's working through her to-do list and feeling very productive. Now if she could just find the time to get her own things done too.

The audio feature comes onto the network with a Dawn voice behind it.]

Just a reminder to the City populace that City Solutions is always looking for new employees. If your specialty is in robotics, weapons, programming, medical engineering, physics, chemistry and other cool things like that, let's have a chat. We also supply funding and necessary electronics, should they be needed, to up and coming businesses in the City that need a little help getting off the ground. Dinner at Warehouse Thread - Open to those who live there... and Faith

[So, Dawn tried to make lasagna. The table is set with proper place settings and with the steaming caserole dish of lasagna in the middle. There is a nice caesar salad that will be so much yum. The garlic bread is a little bit burned but still okay for eating if you stay away from the crust along the edges. The lasagna? Well it might be a little bit salty but if you like salty things, it's good. Dawn wants everyone to sit down for a dinner, kay? Kay.]

[ Surprise, Faith shows up.

It's a little awkward but for once, she's not sporting an inordinate amount of bruises or blood. She might even be more spruced up than usual; don't get used to it, Dawn, she just feels bad about the slight case of asshole she can't seem to shake. ]

Hey, uh...dinner still on? [ And awkwardly holding up a bottle of wine, here. ]

[Dawn is surprised when Faith does show up. But she's happy about it, and the smile that spreads over her lips is proof of that. She even bounces up and down just abit to keep her excitement internal instead of going over to get up in Faith's personal space to hug her.]

You came! Yeah, it's still on. There's lasagna and salad and bread and wine. Want me to pour you some wine? Cause I totally don't mind being the wine pourer.

[ Okay, awkward mostly averted; Dawn's cheeriness really seems to overtake everything else, doesn't it? ]

Uh, I don't actually-- thought you guys might want it. I'm not a wine person.

[ See? Selfless, totally and completely for someone that is else. Maybe she is growing yet. ]

It's probably cheap stuff, anyway. But-- yeah.

[Wine is good and what Dawn cooked smells pretty good. Buffy is sitting at the table with a glass of wine, fiddling with her lasagna but she's smiling and laughing and having fun.]

This was a good idea, Dawnie.

[Dawn is walking around the table filling wineglasses with wine for the occasion. Even if no one likes what she cooked, the house smells all yummy like an Italian restaurant, so there's that at least.]

Thanks. I think the last time we sat down at the table to a meal was when Mom was still around. I just got a craving for it, you know? Or... less craving and more hankering. I like saying the word hankering.

Things just got busy after she was gone. [Buffy takes a sip of her wine.] Sorry, Dawnie. I should have been more dinner around the table sister but hey, making up for lost time, right?

Yep. Groceries and stuff. You know, for the eating and the living and the being. So you wanna come to dinner tonight? I'm cooking. And I hopefully promise that it won't suck.

Uhh-- [ There's gotta be a point where she just stops with all of the bullshit, right? They had bonding times dancing and being lushes. Maybe she could just-- accept someone being nice for once. ] --I think I have a thing...

[This is Dawn trying not to take that personally. Trying... Trying...] Oh. Okay. Well if the thing falls through, you could show up for dinner and yummy wine drinking with the dinner and some conversation and some people like us time.

[Dawn stops mid-stride across the lobby of City Solutions. she knows Dean's voice by hearing it only at this point. Not to mention he's the only one who calls her squirt. She turns and smiles, moving over to give him a hug.]

Hey! What are you doing here? Looking for a part-rime job? Cause I thought the police thing was keeping you all busy boy for the time being.

[Dean hugs her back, picking her up off her feet as he usually does before sitting her back down on them.]

Nah, even if it weren't this really isn't my schtick, y'know? Out making sure everything is what passes for normal around here.

Yeah, you don't really seem the office-y type. But it does look like we're back to city!normal now. So we kind of know what to expect now instead of the nothing that made us feel like something big was coming.

I'm glad to hear it. I've arrived recently, and I've been looking for ways to benefit others and keep myself occupied. At home, I'm a general, so I'm used to having very little free time.

We can give you double duty in both the engineering and science/chemistry departments. Then you could pick and choose over whatever you felt more like working with that day. And if you came up with one specific project you could be in that department whenever you needed to be. Does that sound good, Sephiroth?

Yeah, and since I'm me, I don't know anything about medicine or engineering. But I would guess it's drug experimentation to come up with cures and the like. Sorry for my being lack of knowledge girl on the subject. I just know it's one of the departments that Mr. Stark is interested in.

I'd like to meet the people capable of engineering new pharmaceuticals here. Does he have an arrangement to run trials in conjunction with the hospital?

We have a whole department for the medical engineering that are a lot smarter than me on the subject. But right now there is no arrangement or contract. It's all kept in-house within the department at C.S. So far, no one at the hospital has been interested in assisting with research within C.S. Are you? The department would definitely be all benefit-y from more personnel.
