I tried to be careful with it... It's hard to imagine there wouldn't be information about Gregminster somewhere, though; it was the capital of Toran.

I'm sure there is. It is just the the library can be a little difficult to navigate. It is something about the magic there. If it doesn't want you to be able to find a book then you won't be able to find it.

When I first arrived I did try to learn everything I could about the City. It really didn't want to share its secrets I suppose.

I thought there would be some resistance, since they went to all of the trouble to bring us here I didn't think they would make it easy to leave, but I wasn't prepared for the level of power the city can really produce. That barrier alone must consume massive amounts of energy to produce counterattacks as powerful as the one I witnessed.

What do you mean?

The power itself probably comes from us; that's why no-one's magic is as powerful as it is back home. The barrier is probably powered by taking everyone's magic to some degree.
