I haven't tested them here, and their efficacy might be lessened by this place, but at home, I can heal most major physical injuries and can revive the recently killed, under the right circumstances.

It wasn't so bad during it, other than the injuries. But afterward... yeah.

There are certain factors that might prevent it from working. For instance, if the body is completely destroyed in some way, as in a fire or explosion, the spell will not be able to undo that damage.

Probably. It doesn't stop me from feeling embarrassed or mortified, though.

If someone died naturally, from an illness, would it work? Or would it have to be something like... being shot, or being poisoned?

Anyone who would hold you accountable would be in the wrong. The gods are the ones to blame.

It would depend on the nature of the illness and the specific cause of death owing to the illness. So it's possible, but it would not cure the illness.

It's not accountability. It's about the fact that it was me doing those things and something awful could have happened and I would have had no way to stop it, but I'd still have to live with it.

How does it work, exactly?

I don't mean to say that your feelings are unfounded. They are understandable, yet I would not want you to blame yourself. You were not yourself; you were altered against your will, your sense of self taken from you. [He's trying to be reassuring, yet it's not necessarily one of his strengths.]

There are still many things that are not known about the process, but it knits tissues and restores ordinary functions.

I've mainly used it in battle, with a great deal of success. The healing as well as the reviving spells are quite effective and useful. They save lives.

Revival almost always works before biological or brain death, even if the heart and breathing have stopped, but the longer one is biologically dead, the less likely it is to be successful.

I believe that would work, yes, as long as the spell was cast soon enough. I've seen it work on head wounds. But as I've said, I haven't tested it here, so I cannot give you a definitive answer.
