[ Ariadne is most definitely not in her room; in fact, to those who may recognize it, she is definitely in Simon and Seth's apartment. She's definitely not wearing anything that belongs to her, either; she's got one of Simon's shirts on, the collar currently crooked as she presses some ice to her shoulder. There's a bruise in the shape of a horse hoof there. When she speaks, her voice is louder than normal, like she's trying to hear herself. ]
I really want to apologize to everyone whose pets or... selves... I may have tried eating over the weekend. I was all cheetah and couldn't stop myself. To the owner of the now-missing chickens, I'm willing to pay you back, if you'd like.
[ She shifts, only to grimace, hand moving to her ribs for a moment. Ow. ]
Someone please tell me Waffle's okay. I'll be home soon, once moving stops hurting so much and the ringing in my ears goes away.

[ She and Eames will, in fact, be there soon. ]

Just tell the nurses to page me when you get here.

[ And when she gets there, Eames keeping an eye on her to make sure she doesn't try and just head home, she does as she's told. ]

Ariadne?
[He gestures loosely towards the exam room doors.]
I've got a room open over here. Are you walking alright?

[ Eames had brought her tennis shoes instead of boots to make it easier on her ribs, and she gives him a slight nod before getting up to follow Wilson. The truth is that walking does hurt, but she can still do it; it's not that bad, or so she insists. ]

[He's a little skeptical, of course, keeping a careful eye on her gait as he holds the door to the exam room open for her.]
I hate to ask specifically what happened, but... well, it is something of a necessity.

[ She's definitely sore, but it really is everywhere. Her legs hurt almost as much as her ribs do, save for any jarring motion like laughter, which feels remarkably like being kicked in the ribs again. Meanwhile the bruise on her shoulder is a steady throb. ]
I was turned into a cheetah. I couldn't remember that I wasn't actually a cheetah and tried to eat my pet bird, two of my roommates -- well, one of them was actually someone else in my roommate's body -- tried to rescue him. The larger of the two ended up kicking me in the ribs and the other scared me off with gunshots. [ Yeah, it's a dangerous house, okay. ] That was Saturday. On Sunday I was hunting. I was really hungry so I went after a horse, even though it was way too big, and it kicked me in the shoulder. Its rider shot at me, too.
[ Hence the ear ringing. Ow. ] On top of that... uh, I ran around a lot? Which I'm not really used to. And I scratched at my ears to try and get them to stop ringing, and I had claws, so...
I also ate raw chicken and licked other cats, but I haven't coughed up any hairballs. [ Good news? ]

Well. There's one thing to be thankful for, I suppose.
[He's managed to make note of potential injuries and infection, though, so he's just going to go through from the top.]
Well, we should check both your ribs and your shoulder to make sure you haven't suffered any fractures or other internal damage - I'll need to take a look at your ears and make sure there isn't any sort of trauma to the middle or inner ear, too. I can give you something that should help with the soreness from overexertion, and you... weren't actually hit by any of these shots?
[He figures she'd know and have mentioned it, but hey. Just checking. That's a lot of gunshots.]
The chicken we'll just have to keep an eye on. The good news is that if it hasn't bothered you by now, it probably isn't going to, and it's not likely to do much worse than food poisoning. Which, of course, is by no means pleasant, but... it does pass on its own.

No, I wasn't. I think they all just wanted to scare me off instead of actually shooting me.
[ Arthur did, at least. ]
I remember catching and eating them last night, so I think I probably had them mostly digested before I turned back. [ That's how that works, right? She paid attention in Anatomy, but it's not exactly something she studied extensively. ]
