[ Ariadne is most definitely not in her room; in fact, to those who may recognize it, she is definitely in Simon and Seth's apartment. She's definitely not wearing anything that belongs to her, either; she's got one of Simon's shirts on, the collar currently crooked as she presses some ice to her shoulder. There's a bruise in the shape of a horse hoof there. When she speaks, her voice is louder than normal, like she's trying to hear herself. ]

I really want to apologize to everyone whose pets or... selves... I may have tried eating over the weekend. I was all cheetah and couldn't stop myself. To the owner of the now-missing chickens, I'm willing to pay you back, if you'd like.

[ She shifts, only to grimace, hand moving to her ribs for a moment. Ow. ]

Someone please tell me Waffle's okay. I'll be home soon, once moving stops hurting so much and the ringing in my ears goes away.

I'm fine, actually. It was just a thought.

[Pause.]

Are you alright? I could probably fix some of that up for you.

You know, I reckon I've collected enough of my own, er, battle scars for a bit.

You're sure? Because that bruise is starting to look impressive.

From the sounds of it, I don't blame you. Still, sometimes magic's a bit faster than Muggle, so just let me know. I've had my fair share of scrapes around here and the potions cabinet gets a lot of business out of me.

Fair point. You'd want to avoid Skele-Gro, anyway, it tastes like dragon's piss. I mean, I'd imagine it burns the same way.

[Thank you, Ginny Weasley. If there was any doubt you grew up with boys.]
