[ The first thing that flashed across the video feed? A tiny, pink paw, which pressed against the screen for half a second, followed by tiny little claws, scratching over it. ]

Aah, careful, don't break that. [Akira's sitting cross-legged behind the kitten and reaches over to give his tail a light tug.]

[ That tail fluffs up automatically, a hiss coming from the kitten’s mouth before he’s turning his attention back to Akira, and-- swatting at his face. The swatting earns a laugh, but he pretty much allows it. It was much too cute. After a moment, however, Akira reaches past the kitten to pull the device a bit closer. ]

I think there are kidnappers on the loose. They take people in their sleep and leave a kitten in their place. [Don’t mind him, little kitten-- just going to try and scratch behind his ears.]

[ Hiss, hissss-- though the scratching is distracting, so soon-- Agito just starts purring. ]

... it's pretty crafty, distracting me from the fact that Agito is missing.

[ Is that a hint, Akira. Do you know who he is. Because if you do and you're still doing this to him, Agito is going to be very pissed off later. Well, more so than he already is. ]

[ Chewing on those fingers, yes. ]

[superbeast]

[Of course he knows who you are, idiot.]

[But that doesn't mean he won't deny it and have his fun.]

[Uses the hand not being chewed on to give that kitty-belly more rubs.]

[chomped]

[ No, no. Agito ran away. HE RAN AWAY FOR THE DAY. because you suck and he hates you. ]

[ ..which he would do, except he's kind of stuck, until Akira lets go. ]

[ He'll just. you know. swat at that other hand. ]

[superbeast]

[It's not like you can open doors to escape, little cat.]

[Moves the hand away when it's swatted, only to tug his other hand free from the cat's mouth to pick him up and just. stare at him.]

[chomped]

[ Well there is a window. ]

[ Staring contest is a go. Except he's closer to glaring than-- just staring. ]

[superbeast]

[HE'D CLOSE THEM ALL.]

[It isn't long before that staring contest turns into-- Akira bringing him closer to nuzzle his cheek against the soft fur.]

[chomped]

[ That is a claw, Akira. Digging into the skin right below your eye. ]

[superbeast]

--Hey!

[Pulls him away and takes hold of that paw with one of his hands.]

Bad, kitty. Don't make me get a spray bottle.

[chomped]

[ You do realize you're talking to a cat who was originally known as a shark, right. ]

[ That other front paw is raising, and-- hitting at the hand that's holding the other. ]

[superbeast]

[Why are you so difficult, even as a cat?]

Are you hungry, is that it? I don't have any cat food, but I guess you could have some milk for right now.

[chomped]

[ Oh god. Sudden realization-- he has no hands. No hands. How is he going to eat. How he is going to-- .. no, no he's not even going to think about that now. ]

[ He'll just stare at Akira instead. In shock. ]

[superbeast]

[Clearly that look was agreement, so Akira promptly begins to carry him over to the kitchen.]

[chomped]

[ He is not going to drink that milk, you know. He's not licking it out of a bowl-- nor does he even want milk. ]

[superbeast]

[Are you sure? Cat instincts wont kick in even if he just goes and pours that milk in a bowl and holds catgito close to it?]

[chomped]

[ No, he refuses. ]

[ --and even hisses some more. ]

[superbeast]

Ah...! No, it's okay, it's okay. [Holds him close to his chest this time, petting him to try and calm down that hissing.]

We can go nap first, then eat.

[chomped]

[ He doesn't want to nap, though. ]

[ But it's better than having a bowl of milk in his face. So, he's not arguing. ]

[ .. ]

[ Agito was rather tired, too. ]

[superbeast]

[There was never a wrong time to just sit back and nap.]

[So, onward to Akira's room.]

[He makes sure the door's closed and locked (for good measure) before finally setting the kitten down on his bed, crawling in after him.]

[chomped]

[ How is he even supposed to open an unlocked door, Akira. ]

[ But this is fine. Agito curls himself up on Akito's pillow, and just. stares down Akira. ]

[superbeast]

[Lays down on his side and grins over at the kitty, reaching over to scratch under his chin.]

You're so cute. I wish I'd prepared for something like this and bought one of those tiny cat sweaters.

[chomped]

[ Agito had finally calmed down a little, too. ]

[ But no, not now. Now, he's jumping up, fur and tail fluffed up a bit, and just. hissing like never before. ]

[ While trying to attack him again. ]

[superbeast]

[aaahh, holding a hand out to keep him at bay.]

Shhh, don't do that. No sweaters, I promise!

[chomped]

[ This is the most vicious kitten, okay. ]

[ Your promises stop nothing! ]

[superbeast]

[Such a bad kitten.]

I'll start singing if you don't stop, kitty. Your eardrums'll blow out. Let's not make any rash decisions here.

[chomped]

[ You're the one making rash decisions. ]

[ But fine, he is stopping. ]
