[Wilson sounds a little preoccupied - slightly weary, too; certainly, you could describe his general tone as a bit down.]

And here I was almost thinking we'd managed to escape March without one of these weekends. Not that I'm surprised, of course.

I suppose it's too much to hope for this one to count for April, too.

[ooc: He's cursed with Ghost World and seeing Amber, his dead girlfriend from his future, lingering around the periphery of his vision. Luckily for him, Fourth Walls have given him the chance to get to know her. :D]

[And again, she's whining at a friend because she's concerned. And there's a picture of fire hanging from her teeth. It's a clue as to who this is.]

[He doesn't draw the connection immediately... though he can, of course, assume you're a cursed person. Aside from the fact that it's one of those weekends, wolves don't generally have Network devices or know how to use them. The whine is a clear sign of concern, though.]

I'm all right.

[Frowning slightly, he eye catches on the picture. Not many people he knows would identify most strongly with fire.]

Charlie?

[The picture is dropped and Charlie bounces slightly. Yes, Wilson. Got it in one. Her boyfriend took longer. She is disappointed in him.]

[He gives a slight smile. Hey, he's good with people and details.]

You all right? At least you seem to recall who you are.

[As opposed to the time Ariadne spent the weekend as a cheetah.]

[A half-whine and a grumble. Clearly, she actually hates this. And then a questioning head-tilt. How about you, Wilson? Charlie is worried.]

[He nods sympathetically.]

I'm sorry, I'm sure that isn't much comfort right now.

[He smiles softly, as reassuring as possible.]

I am cursed, but... it's fine. Nothing harmful.

[She's not entirely convinced but since she can't actually say so, she continues to look at him with concern before wagging her tail. If you say so, Wilson.]

[He does smile. Because she is small and adorable.]

[He tilts his head slightly, still a small smile on his face.]

[Chase, his hair wet from surfing, looking quiet and thoughtful.]

Where's the elephant?

[Wilson's brows arch slightly; he's not hiding it, exactly, but he's still a little hesitant to share all the details.]

Elephant?

You don't look like you're affected, but you sound like you're affected. Which means there's probably an elephant in the room nobody's noticing.

I sound affected because I am affected.

[The briefest glance off to a side, then back.]

It's nothing harmful.

Yeah, that was kind of what I was getting at. [He tries to follow what Wilson's looking at but, there's nothing. So he just nods.] All right.

It's just... it's nothing that's going to hurt me, or cause me to hurt anyone else.

[He hesitates; this is strange because he knows that Chase is the only one here who knows her in their own world, the only one that knows the full story. What happens to her.]
