And here I was almost thinking we'd managed to escape March without one of these weekends. Not that I'm surprised, of course.

[Wilson's brows arch slightly; he's not hiding it, exactly, but he's still a little hesitant to share all the details.]

[He hesitates; this is strange because he knows that Chase is the only one here who knows her in their own world, the only one that knows the full story. What happens to her.]

How many rabbits get pulled out of hats in this place strictly for entertainment's sake?

[Somewhere over his shoulder, Amber might be asking if House has been handing out his little book of tedious metaphors again, or saying she's pleased Chase cut his hair back a little, pretty boys never carry off that grunge thing well.]

I'm sure. I don't really expect them to respect their own rules, assuming they bother keeping track of them at all.

[He doesn't not want to talk. He's not sure if he entirely does, either, but he'll figure that out as he goes. It's a topic that's been nagging at him for a while now, had him wavering on whether he'd mention it at all. Her presence does do a lot to push it back to the forefront of his mind.]

Somehow I doubt anyone's managed to keep count.

[He actually sort of smiles when his unseen guest offers her commentary, but it's fleeting.]

They don't seem to like large audiences, though. Which is perfect for making you hope it's over by the time the weekend ends, and that you're not actually developing a psychosis.
