As she's sliding in to the seat next to Isabela, adjusting her fitted suit and the way her wooden blade hangs from her belt for comfort, leaning an arm on the bar to spare a glance where the other woman's eyes went to.]

[Isabela's eyes flick appreciatively up and down Hazuki. Non-too-subtly.]

[She gestures toward the bartender]

A glass for my friend here. Make it good, would you?

[Her attention returns to Hazuki, eyes meeting eyes, now. She taps the screen of her device.]

Still don't get it, but I'm glad you're not some work of magic.

[Hazuki, used to being the aggressor paired with a woman who was more naive, and... unfortunately usually painfully straight, finds this whole thing a bit... interesting.

There's no such thing as magic.

Illogical enough to make her head ache- which is why she actually attempts to smile at the bartender when he brings her that drink, but it looks more like a scowl when turned his way and not hers.]

I wish that were true. Life would be so much easier without mages and templars getting their smalls in a twist. All that energy could be much better spent.

[She shakes her head, winks at the bartender before knocking back her tankard.]

[Hazuki did not usually drink alcohol beyond washing her mouth out after kissing Genma- the bastard. Not for her own pleasure anyway- only when it benefited her socially. Or physically.
