It's just called The City. It's a pocket dimension. An annoying place that kidnaps people from anywhere and any-when and holds them for however long it feels like, drops random curses on their head and sometimes tries to kill everyone.

Don't mind at all. They vary. There is no real rhyme or reason to them or any way to predict when they will happen or what they will be. And they only affect some people at a time. And then there are city-wide things that occur that change the City entirely.

They can make you think you have family that you don't have. They can make music follow you everywhere. I've been here for seven months and it's rare that the same curse happens twice, so, really, anything you can imagine it can probably happen. So, yeah. Watch your back and all that fun.
