[ The video shows: one (1) little girl, sitting cross-legged on the ground in a neat red dress and one (1) kitten, currently climbing the girl's lap while she smiles and pets it.

Once the feed starts, Ivy of course realises that it has done so, and her face quickly reverts to its usual neutrality. She takes the kitten and turns it so they're both facing the camera. ]

This is Timur. [ a short hesitation. ] It may be beneficial to him to spend some time with other pets so that he will not grow up without companions.

[Awww, cute. Not that Raymond says (or even indicates) as much, but he does bend down to pick the little guy up. To prevent him from getting his claws in his pants, of course.]

That's good, I guess. [Better than something more juvenile, like Whiskers or Fluffy.]

It is a good thing that he likes you, seeing how you have to live with him as well. [ There's a hesitant quality to her voice. Here's to hoping that Raymond likes Timur as well and doesn't mind living with a cat. ]

Mm. [It's a sound of agreement, as he's focused now on the kitten in his hands. If he would have minded the cat's presence, he wouldn't have agreed to let the Archive have him in the first place; if there's any hesitation on his part, it's simply because he's never been in the position of caring for another animal.

After a pause:] Do you think he likes it here?

[ Stepping a little closer, reaching up to pet Timur while Raymond is still holding him. The kitten promptly beings purring and burrows into Raymond's hands, headbutting him. ]

I believe he does. We could always ask the Doctor for confirmation, he speaks cat.

The Doctor... [Raymond remembers being advised to meet him not long after he first arrived in the City. Well, one of them.]

Which one? [He keeps his eyes on the cat as he asks, trying to be careful not to drop the squirmy little guy.]

Any of them. They all speak cat, as far as I am aware, though I only spoke personally to the Eleventh about it.
