[ The video shows: one (1) little girl, sitting cross-legged on the ground in a neat red dress and one (1) kitten, currently climbing the girl's lap while she smiles and pets it.

Once the feed starts, Ivy of course realises that it has done so, and her face quickly reverts to its usual neutrality. She takes the kitten and turns it so they're both facing the camera. ]

This is Timur. [ a short hesitation. ] It may be beneficial to him to spend some time with other pets so that he will not grow up without companions.

I recently picked him up from the shelter. [ Tiniest of all tiny smiles. He is very cute, isn't he.

[ Look, Ray, Timur is making his way over to you to try and climb your leg. ] It is a Russian name derived from the Turkish word for iron. I found it suitable due to his colouring.

I've got two cats if you ever wanna set up a playdate.

[And a rabbit. And a husky. Their apartment is full of fur.]

I think that would be excellent. Animals require stimulation and companionship at times.

When would be convenient for you?

I have an elderly cat who likes sleeping all day and one a few months old who pounces everything. I'm sure the younger one wouldn't mind a playmate.

Timur is very active and curious as well. He would likely get along iwth the younger one.

I think so, too. Hypnos lives up to her name. She sleeps all the time and is very lazy. She puts up with a lot of Petrichor's shenanigans but I think Timur would like Petrichor better.

[Awww, cute. Not that Raymond says (or even indicates) as much, but he does bend down to pick the little guy up. To prevent him from getting his claws in his pants, of course.]

That's good, I guess. [Better than something more juvenile, like Whiskers or Fluffy.]

It is a good thing that he likes you, seeing how you have to live with him as well. [ There's a hesitant quality to her voice. Here's to hoping that Raymond likes Timur as well and doesn't mind living with a cat. ]

He and Biscuit are close in age, then.

[ At the sound of his name, an orange kitten pokes his head over and sniffs at the device. ]

Biscuit gets along with other cats pretty well, if you're still looking for more playmates for Timur.

That would be acceptable. I believe very strongly in a healthy diet for children, but it is my impression you would cook healthy food.

My roommate has a dog, too -- maybe if the kittens get along, Timur could meet Pancake?

They are very nourishing.
