Once the feed starts, Ivy of course realises that it has done so, and her face quickly reverts to its usual neutrality. She takes the kitten and turns it so they're both facing the camera. ]

This is Timur. [ a short hesitation. ] It may be beneficial to him to spend some time with other pets so that he will not grow up without companions.

I recently picked him up from the shelter. [ Tiniest of all tiny smiles. He is very cute, isn't he.

[ Look, Ray, Timur is making his way over to you to try and climb your leg. ] It is a Russian name derived from the Turkish word for iron. I found it suitable due to his colouring.

I have an elderly cat who likes sleeping all day and one a few months old who pounces everything. I'm sure the younger one wouldn't mind a playmate.

Timur is very active and curious as well. He would likely get along iwth the younger one.

You can always being him by and let him mess around with our cats. I even bet Bandit would love to play with him, once he's taught that he's bigger and should step on little kittens.

I am quite certain Timur would not react well to being stepped on.

I have two fennec foxes-- but I'm not sure how they would be with kittens. They're really nice, though!

Fennec foxes are very pretty. If you would like, we can see how they might get along with Timur.

No, I think not. Unless he wishes to learn. [ Hesitating for a moment. ] I want Timur to be happy.

Perhaps I will, once I am certain that Timur likes living with me and Mr Leon, and if Mr Leon does not mind it.

I have a companion animal as well. He's larger than your cat, but well-trained.

It might be beneficial for them both to socialize.
