[The number 3.14 has been driving Dawn crazy today. So instead of stay at work where nothing added up to 3.14 she decided to do one of her favorite things and go shopping. And when nothing added up to 3.14 there, she decided to split the three from the fourteen and go from there.

After a full day of shopping, Dawn is currently standing in front of the make-up counter at the store looking a little bit perplexed, maybe kind of stressed out. Shopping is usually something that's calming, like a creature comfort, and it has been for most of the day... until now. Her voice sounds over the network.]

So, so far today I've bought myself three new pairs of shoes, three new tops, three new jeans slash trousers and three new pajama pants slash shorts. That's twelve things and now I'm stuck because for some reason I only want to go to fourteen items but that messes with my whole buying three of everything. Another three and it'll be fifteen.

I mean what's a girl supposed to do? Do I leave the whole three thing I have going on and go with fourteen or do I stick with three and make it fifteen? Stupid decisions. It's like there's a chocolate and vanilla cake sitting in front of you but you can't have both. You can only have one. How do you choose? I mean... chocolate and vanilla... right there!

Totally not cool, math... totally not cool.

It really comes off more pumpkin on you than peach. I know nobody would tell you that but me, but that's why you love me. Also, you know you're gonna get skin cancer, right?

Dawn, I'm the slayer. I think cancer is the least of my problems.

You're like really old for a slayer so I think you're good. And wouldn't it be sad if you saved the world all these times and averted eighty gazillion apocalypses but died of skin cancer? That would be irony.

Uh...thanks? [She knows it's a big honor/compliment/accomplishment to be 'really old'. In fact, thirty is sort of a goal for her.]

[Dawn is completely bummed now, okay? That's what life without Buffy does to her. Been there, done that, got the robot.]

Hey, Dawnie. I did the dead thing. It didn't work out for me. I'm not looking to do it again anytime soon. See, full of sisterly life and not dying.

Yeah... well... just see that you keep it that way. Or I'll find someone to bring you back again just so I can kick you...

[She doesn't mean it, of course. She knows what hell Buffy went through after Willow's spell that ripped her out of Heaven. And she knows that the Buffy that came back wasn't the sister Dawn had lost. It had taken a long time for Buffy to be okay with being back among the living. Dawn knows this all, but it doesn't hurt to tease.]
