Hullo. [She holds up her drawing. It's a very six year old drawing. There's something that appears to be a blue police box and two stick figures. One of them has hair that sticks straight up from his head. The other has no hair.] These are my Doctors and this is the TARDIS.
This Doctor [She points to the stick figure with the hair.] made me pancakes this mornin'. He flips 'em in the air and everythin'. I wanted 'em shaped like things so he made 'em shaped like the Medusa Cascade. The Medusa Cascade is shaped like this. [She puts her paper down, draws on it and holds it back up. It's a blob shape.] The Doctor says m'gonna go there when I'm bigger and grown up.
This Doctor [She points to the one without any hair] has never finger painted before so we're gonna fingerpaint today.
[ooc; Rose is cursed to be tiny today. Replies will come from

Huh uh. [She's taking that as a compliment.] And the TARDIS too.
What color should we start with?
no subject
He watches her go back to her table and looks back at the board he still needs to hang.] What? He's getting the colours, yeah? Ask him. [Attempt to hang big board.]
no subject
[She sticks her tongue out at him and hops down from her table to go off and ask the other Doctor about the colours. Don't worry, she'll be right back regardless.]

Okay. I can do that.
[She comes to stand next to him, hands on her hips, looking up at the board.]
It's not straight yet. [Accompanied by some giggling because clearly he's still working on it.]
no subject
He gives her a look under his arm as he gets it hung properly.]
Thanks. You're just as helpful at half size as you are at normal.
no subject
At least m'not half as helpful. That's be a wreck.
no subject
That'd be you staying in the other room so I could actually get things done. How's this?
no subject
You'd miss me. [Arms crossed over her chest and everything.] I think it's straight. You'd still miss me if I went into the other room. You'd come lookin' for me.

Okay.
[He's forgiven for the most part.] We're gonna start with blue paint.
[Of course they are.]
no subject
Brilliant! I love blue paint! Where am I with all the paints? You did tell me to get them, right?
no subject
Uh huh. You're on your way. Be patient.
[ooc: I'll have to link Dove to this and see if she wants to play with them all finger painting.]
no subject
[ooc: yeah, I've been wondering if threads were going to merge or if we were all doing different things.]

[Deep breath]
And the Medusa Cascade. And that's all.

I met a boy named Percy. he was nice to me and asked me to tell him 'bout my drawin's.
no subject
I'm sure we've got more wall space for them somewhere. We apparently don't get rid of waxen masterpieces in this flat-hold.
Yeah? Percy sounds like he knows what's good for him. Or he's got younger siblings. Or both! They're not really mutually exclusive.
no subject
Nope. We like everything everybody colours.
He's ginger and he's never traveled in space or time.

We're having no luck with the ginger, seems like. Looking younger every time, though. [ A grin. ] Brought the paints.
no subject
I think the new one looks twelve. Maybe fifteen. [Said by someone who looks six right now.] Aaaaaaand I think it's sad that he hasn't traveled in time so...[The next comes out in a rush of words] Isortainvitedhimtogowithuswhenweleavehere [And she's just going to follow it up with an automatic pout, anticipating the grief she'll get over that.]
no subject
Here's hoping he gets a chance to age a bit before regenerating. It's hard to be intimidating as a six year old.
[That gets his attention. The pre-emptive pout was probably a decent plan, although he's more surprised than anything. After the last few times they'd had other people with them, he'd rather come to the conclusion that both he and she preferred not having company.] Oh really? In my- [...] our, TARDIS?

[ The Doctor points at little Rose, fake scolding in his tone. ] This one's not going to get a hole put in his head, I hope. Impulse invitations don't always work out very well.
