[The (Second) Doctor is walking through the streets of the City, taking one last look at the place before heading for his TARDIS and taking it through the doorway. He's passing by the building where he's been staying for a while. The streets look so deserted.]

Well, at least everyone's taken the opportunity to leave already. Perhaps I should get going too.

[Now she worries about the other universe and the situation but still she knows that she has to find him.]

[She nods and gets to her feet slowly.]

So we're really getting out of here?

Yes. We are. In fact, as soon as we get back to the console room, I'll get us going immediately.

[Looks back down the corridor.]

Best to take what we have with us already, yes?

Yeah. No more suitcases.

[It had been a hard lesson learned.]

So come on then, let's go.

[She reaches for his hand.]

[Takes her hand.]

That's the spirit. The only door we're going through is the one back to out universe.

[Offers her a grin.]

[She gives him a small smile. Would she'd actually get to see the proper universe again? Her mind raced at the chance.]

Home. It's been ages though. I can't wait to see it again.

[Chuckles at his attempt at humor.]

[Starts leading her back to the console room.]

[Loos a little sad, but turns to the door to the console room.]

Seeing old friends is always nice, I suppose.

[She looks away and frowns.]

[Enters the console room, and starts for a long moment at the console. He mutters to himself.]

Home. The one place I can never go.

I'm sure the reunion will be lovely. Not certain I'll be able to stick around for it.
