[Gigantic grin as Demyx rushes up to him, wrapping his arms, uh, sort of around his shoulders. It's an attempt at a hug. Keyword being 'attempt'.]

'Course I remember you! Why wouldn't I? I mean, I thought you would've been here when I got back. I asked for you and everything, but- Hey! You're here now, right?

Yeah! We're friends. [He grins at that; he used to question it all the time, sometimes saying "I'm your friend, always kind of toeing around it. But now, he seems to have a different viewpoint, and when he says friends, he says it confidently.
But geez, Neil. Demyx is actually more self-confident than you are?]

[Neil isn't sure what to do, so he pats Demyx on the back a few times and then draws back, not too aggressively -- he's not upset, Demyx, this is just getting the tiniest bit weird.]
