[And she has a spare moment to flip her device to video, grin down at it with grime and viscera kind of in the way. It's probably charming. Maybe a little. Mostly she looks like she's vibrating with energy, clearly flying in the air.]

_{( sulu flips on his own video, looking a little worse for wear but not horrendously so. he flashes a brief smile. )}

[She taps the lens of her camera, mock stern.]

[The video jostles a bit as she uses the hand holding the device to swipe the sweat from her brow.]

[Resistance fighter at heart, here. Ginny looks like she's about to say something else then changes tack with a sharper,]

_{( he doesn't have time to turn around, so he just angles his sword backs and stabs at the creature coming up behind him. he ends up jabbing it in the stomach, then grabbing his things and scrambling away. it's another few minutes before he gets back to the comm. )}

[She watches with held breath, a small victorious sound when he stabs the thing, then she exhales: ]

You're all going to give me heart failure before the month is up.

[She's lifted her broom higher to some rooftop, setting her device on a ledge so her hands are free to push through her hair (grime on grime, really), work in braiding it back so it's out of her way. Her jaw is tight, everything in her exasperated and concerned and some edge of her screaming that she can't do this again but her smile is mostly just that sort of tired, bewildered kind.]

I swear to Merlin. Monsters in and out of mirrors and trying to eat people, someone wanted my freckles the other day— [WHO THE HELL WANTS TO STEAL SOMEONE'S FRECKLES.] This bloody stupid month. The Halloween parties might not even be worth it this year.

Ginny glances down and her eyes narrow and this reminds her, vividly, of her position at the battle of Hogwarts, up in the windows and firing spells into the mess below—but no time to dwell or let that swamp her, she raises her wand and grits out her spell in vicious Latin and there's a satisfying explosion below.

Then she glances back at the camera and winks at him, adding on to their conversation with: ]

[That's where she would be. She's sure Remus is safe but he's just one man and she can't imagine what she would do if everyone else from home were still around. Yes, she misses them, but they're safer at home now.]
