[The person in this picture looks inordinately cheerful considering he's standing in the middle of a desert. His clothes are a little ragged - partly due to a run-in with some of the local desert creatures - and he's got a few scratches here and there, but otherwise he seems fine.

He waves a thin metal pipe in a vague sort of salute.]

Hey, is there anything good to eat in this desert? Aside from the monsters, that is. I don't know about any of you, but those things look a little scary to eat, haha...

Haha, experiences have just made me good at managing pain. Which is good, because some animals will leave you alone if they think they're failing to bother you! How much do you know?

More than enough to get by! But my education began when I was very young.
