[Korra's been in prison for a few days now, and she is PISSED. So pissed, in fact, that her took her this long to realize what she needs to do.]

ATTENTION EVERYONE. THIS GUY -- [oh crap how does she show somebody's picture BLEEP BLEEP BLOOP the screen cuts out and then briefly links to this post.

A few moments later, Korra's face finally comes back on screen.]

That guy who said his knife was stolen [since she has no idea if the bleep bloop did its thing or not] is a liar. It's not his knife. SO YOU CAN TELL ALL YOUR STUPID NAKED LADY HALLUCINATIONS TO GO AWAY. [That was directed to Theo. Seriously. She's not impressed with the visions of harem women. She has trouble enough sleeping with the nightmares she's earned.


Back on point.]

Rowena, wherever you are, I need you to come to the police station and explain. Tell them that it was your knife! [Because it looks like she's not getting out of prison until the knife is returned or "Rowena" tells the cops the truth. (Little does Korra know....)


Now we get to the bane of Korra's network post existence -- how does she end this thing? After a long, awkward pause, she says --]

[Korra doesn't want to admit it, but now that she has the truth of the situation from Hei, she has to.]

When I was in the hospital, I met a girl named Rowena who was being attacked. She said someone had taken her knife and given it to him. She asked my help to get it back, so I did. [Twitch twitch having trouble not curling up into a little ball of shame and humiliation] She was lying.

I think you can probably fix this, don't you?

I don't know where the knife is. I already gave it to Rowena!

[punchedhitler]

Do you have contact information for her?

[anatural]

I've been TRYING to contact her this entire time to have her come and explain! Evidently [ARGH THIS IS SO EMBARRASSING] she....doesn't actually exist.

[punchedhitler]

So let me just...get this so I'm clear.

You gave his knife to a girl who doesn't exist.

And the first time you met her was at the hospital, right?

Was she a patient there?

[nodding] She'd been completely beaten up by the guy who stole the knife from her. At least, that's what she told me.

I'll see if I can find the records there.

And Korra?

[anatural]

Next time a girl gives you a sob story like that, can you come to the police first?

[anatural]

I told her she should, but -- [Right, that line of defense isn't going to get her anywhere, considering. She withers.] Okay.

I'll start the paperwork to get you out, but you have to help me, all right?
