ATTN: Employees of PASSIONÉ and WEASLEYS' WIZARD WHEEZES
To Whom It May Concern :
The businesses owned by Ms Ginny Weasley are to be closed until further notice. She assures employees that they will be paid during this time.
Ms Weasley is currently on medical leave and will answer any questions you may have as soon as she is able. Thank you for your time and understanding.
City General Hospital
[ooc; the plague strikes again! Ginny's just arrived at the hospital after collapsing in her apartment lobby but has been feeling steadily ill since the 16th so people are free to have noticed that. She asked an NPC nurse to write something up for her and thus, this post! THIS IS A CATCH-ALL POST for interaction with her over the course of her illness for the next week: network, visit action spam, or if any doctor friends of hers want to swing by! She ain't goin' nowhere.
ETA: put in a date for your comment, please!
Her essence rite is here. I'm planning on her being sick for the duration of the plot and recovering basically at the end.]

She's trying to sleep to ignore the nausea when the door bangs open and her eyes fly open, breath catching and gaze going straight to the source of the noise before she even registers she's fully awake. And then she focuses on the fact that it's Angela and bloody hell, that was fast?]
Angela? [Pressing a hand to her eyes because the light hurts.] What're you... Hi?

Jesus Christ, what's going on? Your neighbor told me the ambulance came for you and there was a note from a nurse on the network and this isn't a cold.
[Delicious word avalanche.]

the other reason is to check up on others see whether or not he can help out. with jim under the care of other people and getting steadily better, he's got a lot more freedom to stay around in the hospital and take care of others, whether to do menial tasks for the essence rites or just to keep them company ( although he's kept himself within the pediatrics department when it comes to that, because his bedside manner is a lot better when dealing with children ).
he knows ginny is in there because he's kept himself up to date with the number of patients that's been thrown in and out of the hospital. he also knows that she hasn't left just yet. there's also this thing where he's woken up from a dream with a distinct feeling of that the man with the familiar shade of red hair is related to someone that he knows very well, which is why he makes it a point to visit her when he has the time.
he opens the door a little, taking a peek to see whether she's awake or not. ]

But really, what does Ginny Weasley know about her body? Beyond the way it moves in a duel or in the air, this is not what she knows. No, what she knows is that even with the knowledge of the essence rites out there (so it is magic, she suspected as much), the fever that burned through her in the first days has left her weak, still too thin and pale. But she's gotten steadily better, thanks to friends she's impossibly lucky to have, the proof of their help in the rites they've done for her. But then there are the days when she still feels a little bit like crap.
When Bones cracks her door open, she's in the middle of a coughing fit, upright in her bed and a hand pressed to her chest to try and catch her breath between each one, a book open and forgotten in her lap. She'll say hello once she gets this out, really, and flash that oh-so charming smile of hers. She's a Weasley, after all—can't stop, won't stop.]

Easy, before you cough out your lungs. [ he says it jokingly to lighten the mood, but there's a tinge of exasperation as he places a warm hand on her back, rubbing it soothingly as he waits for the coughing fit to subside with a clinical eye. his other hand takes the book from her lap and places it on the bedside table in case it falls to the floor.
he's never been too good with dealing with other patients that aren't children, and ginny's hardly that. he is a bit nicer to her, though. or at least, he makes an attempt. ]
And they said you've been getting better. Did you charm them all to say that for you?

[SHE'S REALLY BAD AT THIS OKAY?! Cuts, scrapes, heck even a axe to the back so can deal with. Sickness? No, most people die soon after they become sick in her district. She's hoping it isn't the same here.]
Like, are you on some drugs?

IDK WHAT DATE FORGIVE ME.
Except that now there have been these dreams, and maybe things are starting to become clear (and damn, he hates when the city throws up sickness with no rational treatment, where there's no chance at a diagnosis arrived at through anything other than guesswork and coincidence. He likes puzzles he can solve.
At least today he's doing his bit, and when he shows up it's not (only) with the stories of how evil her mutant cat is, or how one of the little furballs bit him. He's carrying something. A broom.]
People are going to think our cleaners could use modernising, [He comments, leaning the thing up beside her.]
LET'S MAKE IT TODAY THEN
When he walks in with her broom, she sits up immediately, a little too fast for her head's liking (ugh, she can't even remember what it feels like to not have a headache), and reaches for it, eyes bright.]
Can I hold it? Please? [Suppressing a quiet little cough then smiling at her best and widest,] I won't fly off. Promise.
\o/ TODAY
EXCELLENT
