City General Hospital

[ooc; the plague strikes again! Ginny's just arrived at the hospital after collapsing in her apartment lobby but has been feeling steadily ill since the 16th so people are free to have noticed that. She asked an NPC nurse to write something up for her and thus, this post! THIS IS A CATCH-ALL POST for interaction with her over the course of her illness for the next week: network, visit action spam, or if any doctor friends of hers want to swing by! She ain't goin' nowhere.

Shit, I don't even know if you'll be able to answer this, but I'm just checking in to make sure you're okay. Relatively. You know what I mean.

[The minute the note reaches Angela, she's off and knocking on Ginny's door, only to get no answer. It's a kind neighbor that tells her that Ginny was taken to the hospital and she barely even says thank you before she rushes down to City General. Just a cold? A cold wouldn't cause a person to collapse and wouldn't require a hospital stay. This seems so much more serious and Angela's worrying is in overdrive by the time she convinces a nurse she is very much so a relative of Miss Ginevra Weasley and makes her way to Ginny's room, shoving the door open. Knocking isn't a option here.]

[Technology is great because she can talk and it'll write it out for her and thank Merlin, because she's pretty sure she sounds as much of a wreck as she feels. This reply comes a few hours later.]

Hey. Looks like you get a paid holiday.

A paid holiday is great and all, but I'd rather you were well.

[Well, the hospital is probably answer enough, with a packed waiting room and crowded hallways. Something's wrong with the City and it's taking it out on the people who live there. Ginny in particular had been feeling steadily awful since Tuesday and the fever that took her down hit overnight between their conversation and now. Lying down feels wonderful, though, and she feels shitty enough to not even be upset that she's landed herself in the hospital. She is stubborn but she isn't stupid.

She's trying to sleep to ignore the nausea when the door bangs open and her eyes fly open, breath catching and gaze going straight to the source of the noise before she even registers she's fully awake. And then she focuses on the fact that it's Angela and bloody hell, that was fast?]

Angela? [Pressing a hand to her eyes because the light hurts.] What're you... Hi?

Well, if I'm here, I'm planning on getting there. Right?

How about you? Are you alright? It's going around.

Yeah. If you need me to bring you anything, let me know.

Me? I'm fine. Haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary.

I will. Promise. Just be careful, stay home if you can. This place is packed.

Yeah, I am. This doesn't seem normal, everyone getting sick this fast.

[And really, Angela should be guarding herself against whatever this is that's going around, but she's too concerned with other people to deal with herself at the moment. She's not even really properly dressed to be in public, still clad in the borrowed shirt and too big pajama pants from yesterday. Story of her life, so on and so forth. Her appearance means nothing to her right now when Ginny looks like a wreck and a half laid up in that bed.]

Jesus Christ, what's going on? Your neighbor told me the ambulance came for you and there was a note from a nurse on the network and this isn't a cold.

Something's wrong with the City.

[Too loud, too many words. Ginny grimaces and doesn't move her hand from her eyes, just lifts her free one and waves it vaguely at the other woman.]

Shh. [Fuck, her head's throbbing.] I don't know. Had her put it up for me because I couldn't manage my device, looking at the screen hurt. And... what was the other question?
