[For anyone that's in the Glass City, this will come off static-y as hell. Images will distort, freeze and audio will come off wrong. Words will be missing and cut off at the wrong times. But it is clearly Charlie and Ed in a van, checking over blankets secured over windows. Ed's checking it frequently and Charlie's swatting his hands away.]

Would you stop that?! [It's Charlie. She sounds exasperated. She gets an annoyed look from Ed, a look that does fuck-all to hide the worry.] You keep checking it and it'll end up falling. Leave it be.

How do I know you even bothered to secure it right to begin with? [Ed. Still sounding annoyed.]

You---I don't want to. [There's the sound of a metal door creaking open, a hiss and video of Ed flinching away from a small shaft of sunlight and Charlie speaks again, picking up her device. The door slams and Charlie notices the device is running.]

Any explanation for what's going on, here?

I'm not sure where I am...I was trying to find the tea shop, but it's hard to figure out where anything is, what with the sand...

Stay somewhere shaded. I'll find you. [And she speaks off camera for a moment.] Ed. We're picking up a few friends of mine. Be nice. Okay?

[There's brief arguing between the two, most of which Charlie makes inaudible by covering the device. There are Words in her and Ed's vocabulary she doesn't want Rapunzel to hear. Charlie then starts the van, it's loud, sounds like it's on it's last legs but it works.]

On my way.

Okay, I'm not moving.

[She goes to find a nearby shaded area.]

[And here is a giant white van trundling up what should have been a road. Charlie eases it to a stop near Rapunzel and climbs out.] Hi. I have water if you need some. And it's . . . relatively cooler in there than out here.

Woah...where did you find that?

It was outside a florists shop. Smells kind of like flowers gone bad in there but, better than sweating to death out here, right?

[Charlie sighs, shoulders sagging slightly.] Rapunzel, this is Ed. Ed, this is my friend, Rapunzel.
