Quest 319
[Accidental Video Post]
[Amid the sound of a clatter and some general fussing (the former owing to the device striking the ground, the latter to the fact that good gracious there are dragons outside and they are growing), the video switches on, presenting for the Network's viewing pleasure a lovely shot of bookshelves, the Library ceiling, and a flash of Rosella's red skirt.]
--other it all, this is hardly the time to be clumsy. Oh, just a minute, um...dragons, dragons...
[An arm extends, plucking a book off the shelf.]
...Wagons?
[And that book proceeds to go thump as she promptly sets it aside without further comment.]
Honestly, I can't find anything today! Spellbooks, cookbooks...um, drat, let's see, that'd be...spellbooks about dragons, so a cookbook about...oh, let's try snakes, then?
[She scoops up the device and trots briskly through the shelves, still murmuring to herself.]
Lizards, snakes-- [She removes another book, this time from a different shelf.] --To Serve Man. ...Augh!
[Yes, well, when you have dragons on the brain, things tend to get jumbled up--and asking the Library for a cookbook about dragons might just give you a cookbook for dragons, instead.]
Oh, drat it all, there's got to be something in here somewhere!
[And with another rustle of fabric as she continues on her way, the video ends.]
[OOC: WOO DRAGONS. Rosella's worst nightmare--or, well, one of them, at least. She and the Dead Poets will be enacting these shenanigans from here on out, so stay tuned for future developments! And feel free to action her up in the Library if you're in that area. o/]

[A pause; good man, Neil, actually getting her to sit down and take a deep breath, since she was getting a little frantic there.]
The, um, the dragons, yes, I ended up with one and it--hatched, you know, as they do, and it was such a small little thing that I swatted it with the broom and managed to shut it up in a closet, but then it started getting bigger and must've gotten the door open and--
[BREATHE.]
When Alexander, um...when he vanquished my dragon, it was with a spell that made it storm, and the lightning struck it and that was simply that, and I do have that spell but I'm a bit afraid of trying to use it on these dragons, with so many other tall things around for the lightning to strike instead. So I rushed right over to the Library to see if I couldn't find something else that would do.

Maybe something a little... safer. Or something that would just make them go away, not-- [Well, you know.]
Do you need help looking? Me and Todd could try, though we wouldn't be any help with the magic part.
[voice]
Oh, like a repellant of sorts--that might do, or perhaps just a big bucket of water to throw on their snouts and convince them to go someplace else, besides.
Oh, honestly, this is stories of dragoons, not dragons. Well, more help is never a bad thing when it comes to the Library, really! Perhaps the two of you could coax it into being a bit more amenable; it's not doing anything at all for me at the moment.
[voice]
[Not that he and Todd had an egg squirreled away or anything. He's not saying anything, nope.]
We'll come by and see what we can do!
