[Roxas is rubbing his eye as he clicks on the video.]

Guys, don't look up if you go outside today. Even if it seems like the, uh, rain is done, it could come back. And these things can hurt.

They're good, though. [He pops another one into his mouth and chews it with a thoughtful crunch, zoning out slightly before refocusing on his communicator.]

But I think some of them aren't good for you. I had one before and got all these weird pictures in my head—it was like a city, but not real, because it sort of...folded up. That was cool, but I'm pretty sure candy's not supposed to make that happen.

Just be careful, okay?

[Roxas' expression goes through several rapid changes as emotions compete for dominance. There's a moment of surprise before his face twists into something halfway between anger and grief, and then...he just looks sad.]

I didn't want anyone to know about that.

[ ... pause... ]

What's a Keyblade?

Oh! Hold on.

[Have some camera shifting as he tries to hold it far enough to show the Keyblade he summons. Ariadne only gets one, because he'd have to drop something otherwise.]

This is a Keyblade.

[It's a key. That is also a blade.]

[ Well. At least it's a descriptive name. ]

So it's... a giant key... that you fight with?

[ It's also a little unbelievable. ]

Um...yeah. Pretty much.

[Oh, can't forget.]

And it can unlock anything.

It looks a little big to fit into most locks.

[That makes him smile.]

It doesn't. It's more like magic.

[ There's a tilt of her head. ]

[He hesitates, but then—]

All right. It'd work easier in person, though. Uh, and I'd need something to unlock.

[ In that case, Roxas, have an address. ]

That's my apartment. I can lock the door there and you can show me. You can meet Biscuit, too.

[Probably a little sooner than she thinks, since he can still use the dark corridors to get around. But he waits a little so he's not so fast it's unnerving.]

[ On the bright side, Ariadne is pretty used to wizards apparating wherever they please at that point. Dark corridors shouldn't weird her out too much. Either way, she's waiting when Roxas arrives, an orange and white kitten perched on her shoulder. ]

[He nods politely when she lets him in the door, a little uncertain; he's not a guest very often. But he brightens up when he sees the cat.]

Oh, he's really cute! Hi, there, little guy.

[ Oh, Roxas. Ariadne thinks you're adorable, despite how socially awkward you are -- or perhaps because of it. ]

Careful, he might use it to his advantage.

[ One hand goes to pluck Biscuit off of her shoulder and into her arms. ] You can pet him. He's friendly.

[Much, much less awkward than he used to be.]

I don't mind.

[He reaches out and pets the kitten gently. He's never had a pet, but he's always thought he'd get a cat if he ever did.]
