( Alexiel's communicator is sitting on the edge of her bathroom sink. The picture is obviously skewed. This is a video that no one was meant to see.

As she stares at her reflection wearing little more than a bath towel, she reaches up and touches her cheeks. There is a strange light in her eyes and, for those who are sensitive to such things, a pulsating, powerful aura surrounding her. She raises a hand and the towel begins to slip, revealing more of her pale skin yet, at the last second, she comes back to herself enough to grab it with her free hand. Her upraised hand is soon pressed against the glass of the mirror. )

Am I meant to seek you endlessly? ( She doesn't shed tears, however the emotion shaking her voice is obvious. ) You will never know.

( Waiting in the City is slowly grinding against her self-restraint. She moves in a way that suggests she is forcing herself to bury all of the negative emotions her appearance causes her to feel.

So like him. Twins.

There really is no telling what she sees in the mirror. Are they nightmares? Visions?

To have this body and not be able to reach him is torture. This is a side she never wanted anyone else to see. With a quick swipe of her hand, she knocks her communicator away from her and the screen goes black. )

That is a shame. It is a kind of suffering to be without form when one would wish oneself to have form.

You must be grateful to have such here and now. Aren't you?

I had a form. Many of them, in fact. But my memories were slow to return to me. ( And each time she remembered something, it seemed like that signaled the end of her life - which was usually extremely painful. )

I would be far more grateful if Rosiel was here with me. He was here...before me.

But no longer. And so the pain of separation torments whichever twin is here without the other--without the other half, as it were.

It is a loss I should be used to by now. However...

( She never is. )

No, of course not.

And that one so close to the divine should feel such pain...

( A low laugh follows his comment. )

Divine? I am fallen.

[That just makes it better. He's like a giant bag of wants right now.]

So. A remove from the divine--and literally so, perhaps? Perhaps not. All literalism of Hell being "below" aside (since, doesn't it make sense for the fallen to fall down?), a fallen creature, a fallen--dare I say it?--angel is yet still an angel. Am I correct?

Hell is below. I have been there myself. ( Recruiting demons. ) I have retained my wings and my name is well-known in heaven.

So for all you call yourself fallen, you haven't shed your ties to the divine entirely.

I would not be able to. {Even if she plucked her wings, she is still the daughter of Adam Kadamon.} I can use it to my advantage.

Hah--and a good use for it!

I can think of no better. Heaven needs change.

Doesn't it, though? And here are we all, waiting for such change.

It is unfortunate that we are not from the same world.

But the ways between worlds are not impossible to travel. I may visit your world yet.

It is regrettable, of course, that things are somewhat, shall we say, "sluggish" in this world.
