Then he called out.

No, he didn't filter. It doesn't matter to him if people hear him calling for his mommy.]

[If you were hoping for more from him, he stopped there. All you get is a little boy waiting for Hatter to come back to him.]

[Ne shifts around on the bed, making it easier for nem to hold him while he leans on nem.]

One should have returned sooner, but this is a better welcome than expected.

[Such a simple way to think. Ne bends down and kisses the top of his head.]

Yes, this One will stay. [Unless told otherwise, but ne's not going to tell him that. Then again, ne wouldn't leave him if ne did leave.]

[He nods and closes his eyes. What he doesn't say is that he stayed awake this whole time waiting for Hatter to come back.]

[Ne'll just hold him then as he sleeps. Ne has no place else to go and even if ne did...it could wait.]

[That's good because unless he's moved, he's not going anywhere for awhile.]

[Nope, he doesn't have to. Ne'll just hold him until he wakes up on his own and then they'll spend the rest of the day doing something.]

[A long while later, he wakes up and rubs his eye then looks up at her.

Oops. He fell asleep.]

[Ne pushes his hair out of the way smiling.]

Someone needed a nap. Better now?

[He blinks the rest of the sleep away.]

Are you hungry now? We can get something to eat if so.

Yes. [It's been awhile since he ate so he should again.]

Hmm...what shall we have then? Maybe we could go to one of the restaurants? [Why waste time cooking?]

Go get your coat then and we shall go. And you can share what you and Setsuna did while this One was gone.

[He nods and hops of the bed to run to his room and get his coat.]
