[Setsuna has Hatter practically in his lap, cuddling up to nem. He gives Hatter a bright smile, focusing only on nem. Yes, he’s aware the device is on, he simply doesn’t care. He places a hand on Hatter’s thigh, and speaks in an amused, insistent tone:]

Go on. You tell them. [Nuzzles Hatter’s cheek.]

[Ne's been looking at Setsuna the whole time a smile upon nir face and when he nuzzles closer ne turns away slightly with a laugh. Instead of immediately saying anything, ne just lifts nir left hand to the device showing off a particular ring, nir fingers wiggling to make sure there is enough attention brought to it.]

It looks like everyone's invited to a wedding. [That done, ne turns back to Setsuna, looking at him through batting eyelashes.

Isn't he just the sweetest thing?

No, you are. [And, how about an eskimo kiss for good measure? Yeah, Setsuna will even go there, trying to nuzzle his nose against Hatter’s, just as the feed shuts off.]

I never really worried. I guess I was kinda horrible, huh?

But it's nice knowing someone likes it when I can talk. I was a little scared most people would like it when I went silent.

It is more worrisome when you are unable to say what is wrong. Too many things get out of hand that way. [As they both know too well.] And this way, no one can say you were forced into this.

This One is a devil and not everything in One's past is so...nice. But, [ne smiles at his again] One does promise to be from now on.

[He looks a little stern, and frustrated, to that.] Well, I'm not being forced! And I'll make sure to tell that to everyone. I can be an idiot, but I know your tricks. I wouldn't just let you do anything to me I didn't want.

[Then he softens.] You'd do that, for me?

[Ne laughs at that.]

This One hasn't shown you all the tricks One knows yet. Something should always be saved for the honeymoon.

[He clears his throat and blushes as he looks away.] I wasn't talking about those tricks.

[There's silence for a moment, longer than usual from Setsuna, at least.]

I think...you should do what you want. If you wanna be better for my sake, that would touch me, but it's not necessary. I fell in love with you, as you are, after all.

One was right, you are too sweet, and better than this One deserves. [Ne takes his hands in nirs once more.] But this One shall try to make up for that.

[His expression darkens a little, though.]

But, uh, Raphael sounds pretty serious, and not in his usual way.

What'd you do in the past that was so bad to have him wound up like this? He usually...doesn't give a fuck.

[Turning away again because ne doesn't want to see the look on his face when ne confesses this.]

If there is one who has all rights to suggest this One would take advantage or force another, it would be him.

[Setsuna goes uncomfortably quiet, his shoulders tense and rise, he pulls in on himself. There's something bad attached to that, bad memories scraping to the surface.]

But you're not gonna do stuff like that anymore, right? That's something I'd ask you to do. Especially if we're married.

No. [Ne's almost shocked he would suggest that ne would, but that he's upset is more troubling.]

One makes no excuse, and takes full blame [here, now; before not so much but...well...yeah] that was the only time. And never again.

Okay. [He takes a deep breath, then places on hand over Hatter's.] Then, I can't condone something like that, and it was really awful. But it's also your past.
